    ask @storm the location from where you can buy beetle oil cooler, dont tell him who gave you this idea though it will be compact and how effective, well you can imagine that part your self.

    BTW what are you upto

    @margallar

    take a look at this video, i have not seen it completley but it will clear your concept, now weither you call it a radiator or cooler its the same thing, it will radiate heat into the surroundings,

    An early VW type 1 oil cooler could work provided you can get enough airflow through it and get it to fit. you can try contacting asadishaque (pw member) he is the guru for VWs in karachi.

    @faisalbiker

    Some 1 may recommend or guide u to best solution if u cud explain its use. The radiator being used in Bikes wud be available at "Ranchor lane" Bikes Junk market in Karachi or u can have brand new form Auto Rikshaw parts market. As far as oil cooler are concern they also come with bikes & u can find frm same junk market.

    However i dont think that an oil cooler can perfom same as of water cooler of same size, reason being both used diffrent type of liquid/coolant for radiation of heat.

    imran bhai, it's possible he's looking to lower the temperature of an aircooled engine rather than a watercooled one, hence the oil cooler. or it's even possible he wants to lower the oil temp of a watercoooled engine as well. i fit an upgraded oil cooler to my golf when i fit a supercharger and it made a significant difference.

    however this is your field of expertise and i'm sure you know more than me when it comes to such things. (i'm a muppet when it comes to bikes)

    @Storm

    Bro I agreed even some modern bikes uses both water cooler as well as oil cooler to cool down their engines but my concern is that poster mentioned only the size (Samll radiator) but not type(Water or oil) of required radiator so i eagerly want to know that wat exactly he want.
    As u know installing an oil cooler in Air cooled type motorcycle engine is not as crunching peanuts so i think atleast he should provide with some project back ground to get reaosnable advise.
