HI
i got a question.. i have heared that the size of the carb venturi should be exactly of the same size of the intake.. today i measured the intake of my dhoom bike it was 22mm and the carb venturi was 16 or 17 mm .. which is very less .. i checked china carbs for replacement but they were all 17 mm ..
i also checked the size of honda cd 100 carb it was 22 mm .. i.e. exactly of the same size as the engine intake .. so what are ur words on this issue.. i have heard that to reduce fuel consumption a venturi of smaller size should be used.. and to have an excellant torque a venturi size should be a match to intake..
so any advice ? any one who have either tried or can try this ? if it works i will purchase a 100 carb.. that one costs 1300 and the shopkeeper said it is genuine.,, and no chaina carb is available in 100 catageroy.. so is it true?
cause a 125 china carb costs 800 rs and 70 china maal costs 600 rs..
also what are ur words on a autotec carb for 70cc ? if one buys which one should one go for crown lifan ? future ? autotec ?
i will be very thankful to u people if someone could get any input..
