    when I did an oil change, I clean out the screen on a CD70 engine, it takes about 2 minutes to remove the magento cover to access the screen.

    The CG125 engine also has a centrifugal oil filter which needs to be cleaned out every 10,000 kms - but to service it you need to open up the clutch cover.

    i have few questions
    1:yar what is the "petrol ki screen" which i have marked in first picture,,? ya kahan hothi ha?

    2: secondly i have done my bike 22 k kms anbd has never cleaned or replaced it.. mechanics say no need,,so should i now clean the oil filter screen or replace it? how much new costs? if cleaning is required how to clean? what solvent to use?

    3: also the procedure to clean is mentioned in the fourth pic but it needs to remove the crankcase,, is its removal same as that of the magneto side? or does it needs the clutch cover ? to be removed ,, also if it needs to be removed what size of Allen key is needed i need one,,

    thaks,

    im sorry foe being backwards - but its the clutch cover needing removal not magneto. I beleive CD70 come with 8mm bolts on the engine, no need for an allen key - just a tall 8mm socket, or T handle with 8mm as one piece.

    the filter can be washed in regular petrol and a toothbrush - the idea is to clean out any trapped junk from it.

    The petrol strainer is in the fuel tap - it would be inside the round plastic underneath it, or if you have a very old model 70 - its inside the tank - and you need to completely unscrew the fuel tap from the tank and shake/scrub it clean.

    as i said you need to remove the clutch cover and you dont need an allen key but a 8mm thin walled tall socket - you can buy a T handle in the tools market with an 8mm socket cast on one end.

    ya we need new gasket for the clutch side..
    u will need to drain engine oil... and pore new engine oil..
    also need some curil/silicon .. curil is good as that holds tighter to the surfaces ..

    i did cleaned it and there were some metal shavings ...

    if u can clean it just first time .. then i dont think there will be more shavings ..

    @ge9us
    what project are u doing ..
    btw there is only stroke /carb difference in the engine of honda and chonda.. chondas have long stroke .. and bigger bore carb.. and true cc of honda is 69-70cc and that of chonda is 85-88cc ..

    if u need any help do pm me..
