Question How should you 'break-in' a new bike?

Dear fellows, my question is very simple: How should you 'break-in' a new bike? and if you don't do so, how it will effect your bike or bike's engine?

    engine break in = running.

my style is great but considered silly by Pakistani mechanics but perfect by every other mechanic/tech in the world.

Little bursts of acceleration and rolling back on the overrun coasting to idle speed. loads up the rings nicely.
