    Default Fuel Valve for CBX 750

    My brothers,

    I keep a CBX 750. Recently it has started some leakages mainly from its Fuel Valve. Is there any possibility of replacing the same with other available Fuel Valves? If yes, where will i find such fuel valves.

    Imran Bhai's and Fifth Gear's feedback shall be much appreciated. Will attach the pictures for reference if necessary.

    Thank you

    How its leaking ? i mean usally they leaks from suction valve & flood the carbs is it so ?
    The used valave form some CBX 650/750 wudnt work well & will start leaking again but still it depends on ur luck if u cud find some good stuff from junk. Alternate replacement cud be from some scootie as they also have suction type valve( for Fuel cut off/ON) but that will require some altration in Fuel tank to be fixed.

    Another option is to block the Suction valve & use the Fuel cutt off knob manualy to ON & Off the Fuel.

    First of all sorry imran bhai for not posting for the past couple of days. Our internet service had some problems.

    It does not flood the carbs imran bhai. Occassionally it does, and im saying so, because parked for quite some time, it gives me problem in starting (long ignition time). But what im refering to is simply the leakage with cutt off knob. Even if it rests on OFF, it still leaks. And if the tank is refueled to more than 8 liters, the fuel floats out like water due to the pressure from the tank. I actually i modified it a couple of weeks back. It was working fine. But now its completely out of control.

    I want to visit some junkyard in Rawalpindi. Please enlighten me.

    Very Warm Regards

    Ezaz

    @ezaz

    I had similar problem with my FZR when I bought it. I did a "jugat" solution, it may sound funny but it has worked great for me till now.
    Fuel valve of my bike looks different though. Before opening I noticed from where fuel was leaking then I opened it up completely, cleaned it and on the leaking area I simply put a layer of tape that we roll on tennis ball. Then I cut the extra tape hanging outside the valve with the help of razor and tighten the screws. No fuel has ever leaked since then
    You can try this at home. Should work for you too. Try and share the results.
    Good luck.

    @ezaz

    There must be some seal O ring type in that area try to get it replaced usualy its easy to find Various sizes are easily available on auto parts shops). other wise Jugar as mentioned by 7th gear may also work but i wud recomend teflon tape instead of normal insulation tape. Teflon Tape i seasily available at Hardware shops. How ever Ur bikes fuel valave looks similar to one used in Honda's small bike like CG 125 etc Im refring to neck area only rest setup must be diffrent. so try to to check that too & replace with Genuin one if neck size is same.
