Default CG 125 Classic, can't do more then 95 km/hr!>?

Well all you guys your input is really going to be helpful on this one, my bike, a 2011 model, done 1450 km mileage in total can't do more then 95(with difficulty) on a level road. I had its oil changed twice at 500 kms and 1350 kms and has been tuned one time. Any idea why this is as it is ???

Nothing to worry about. I bought mine in 1999 and right after running completed my bike was not going above 90 km/hr. All you need to do is to wait. after around 10,000 Kms you bike's engine will start break in and it will smoothen up. and the top speed will start to extend. 125 is capable of going beyond 120 kms with some weight reduction of course.

around 1500 kms running is too early for 125 to achieve its top speed.
I cried because I had no TURBO, until I met a person who had no VTEC

Bhai you are right in a way. The thing is 125 can very easily manage 100km/h, But most people have it detuned. They set it for economy. Mostly when I go to mechanic for tune ups they used to reduce the petrol so much that bike would have problem idling. Idle nahi hoti thi, bund ho jaati thi. My uncle's bike is like that. Petrol level has been so much restricted that bike shuts off if we dont give little race. That bike is 2002 model and vibrates like the end of the world at 85km/h. But mileage is great at almost 46 km/h. On the other hand my petrol level is what it should be. The bike has no problem idling and also bike easily does 100 km/h (and full meter if i get a clear road). But my average is about 37 km/l in city drive (and when I really ride crazy it drops to 35 km/l ). So dont blame the bike. It is our awam. They want most fuel economy they can get out of their bike. Agar un ka bus chalay toh koi esi setting karien keh bike bus petrol smell kar keh chal jai

bhai there is a lot of misconception about the statement "petrol kam kar daina",, long and short if his bike dies at idle then his idle speed is too low,, just give the idle speed adjusting nut a little twist clockwise,,it will b ok,,and it will have no effect on his avg,,absolutely no effect,,unless he keeps it idle 24/7/365

the cdi unit controles the revs,, if u think that the new model is restricted try installing the cdi unit of some un restricted bike,, it will nlock it,, thats the only way to lock the speed of bike,, electronically,, mechanically they can use sprockets/ gears to limit the speed,,

i would second khan the great that the bike which can go beyond 100 will do that in the very early stages and no need to complete the 10,000 km risrtriction an all, and the bike which wont go beyond 100 in the start wont be able to do that after 10,000kms also , simple :p

i doubt this seriously ppl talking in the air about their bikes going beyond 120 , i seriously doubt it , though im not pointing my finger on any one , but at 100 cg starts vibrating like hell, wat wud b the case at 120 , though achieving
this 120 mark is also a question :p most of the bikes are altered with sproket changes.trust me but no one admits and keeps on saying their bike is stock stock stock

    @ All Nd Poster
CG 125 Is Capable Of Completing its Full Meter nd can go even beyond 120km/h , Normally owners do the new bike runing on tha speed limit 30 , 40 50km/h that would be an effect on tha speed limit seriously to some extincts drive tha bike on proper rpms after 200 or 300 kms for better output nd secondly new models are coming with a low quality material nd parts as compared to old ones that would be a reason , nd now comes tha vibration as i talked earlier that new models are coming with low quality material thaz y tha bike vibrates @ top rpms for this ask ur mechanic to tighten all tha bolts of engine connecting to frame to it max at every tuning for reducing vibration .
Last But Not Least Maintance Matters Alot On Top Of All These , I Have A 99 nd 2008 model CG 125 for better results i oftenly change mobile oil nd spark plug , for checking tha top speed of ma bike . Not Checking Tha Bike On Default Or Life Completed Parts .
