Question Helmet mount Camera , has any one did it ?

    Hi
has any one tried to attach camera onto their helmet ( or onto bike ) for recording their ride ?
if yes how ? and which camera /helmet setup u used? cost ? procedure ? quality of video ?
    any video ?

i think the easiest way is to make a bracket for ones mobile fone and then attach that somehow to the helmet ?
will be very nice to record trips to scenic places...

For recording videos on bike there are following suggestions.

    1. Use mobile phone.
    2. Install a spy cam

    1. Using a mobile phone camera will be cheap and results in high quality recording. but it requires some work for making and installing a bracket in correct angle.

    2. Using a spy cam will be quite expensive. A small spy camera will cost around 1800rs. Further a direct recording unit with power and hard disk will cost around 3000rs. It will be expensive but a permanent solution.

i checked its specs..its very professional thing ,, but damn expensive as well,,not within my ranges,,
so i would prefer something cheap,, preferably a mounting bracket sorta thingy to mount my mobile in it and attach that to either helmet or motorcycle,,

Yes GoPro is the best option. I do not know if it is available in Pakistan or not. I checked at some shops and they were unaware of the name Go Pro.
