that is a big difference. 18km/l is very bad average for a 200cc bike. I understand now why people put 125 carb in it. coz they can get around double the average. But i think they will definitely compromise on pick and top speed.

I believe the mileage for a tuned Cd200 was around the 24kmpl mark with a hard throttle grip, while varies in between 26 to 30kmpl if cruised on low to mid throttle positions.

Getting a mileage of 35+ with a 125 Carburetor may seem like a decent proposition in the initial stages, the owner however compensates for it by rebuilding the engine (Especially the top end) more frequently. A 200 cubic engine lives on equal amounts of fuel, reduce its sole means of running/living healthy, and you have a starved/underpowered motor that eventually decides to call it quits.

during my dyl upgrade project i noticed a couple of things regarding carburetoras,
if u r going with a carburetor with small venturi then u will get an excellant bottom end,, means pick bahot achi ho jaya gi,but the top speed will be less but will have a lot of power,, laikin fuel avg achi hogi and fuel burn acha hoga,,because air.fuel mixture wil enter the cylinder with greater velocity and make excellent turbulance which ill result in good fuel burn,
but with biger venturi carb it is opposite,,
bottom end pa pick kam ho jaya gi,, bike speed aram aram sa pakra gi laikin full throttle pa top speed bahoth hogi,,

and obviously if it is jetted correctly,,

i tried with default carb of dhoom bike top speed was 80 km/hr and pick was awesome,,
with qingqi carb of big venturi top speed is 100 so far and pick is a bit low,,
same was the issue with cd 100 and cg 125 carbs which happens to have slightly bigger venturi ,,
