    Default cg125 rear brake issue

    Salam brothers.
My cg125 rear brake was not very effective. So got its sleeve made from kharadia and installed new original brake shoe. This worked fine for one month. But now when I apply the brake it is not very effective. So i tighten the nut a bit and then brake is ok. But after 2 or 3 days again brake is not good and I have to tighten the nut (I am talking about the nut that is on the right side of the bike next to the silencer). If I tighten the nut too much then the rear wheel starts to get tight as well (zayada tight ho jata hai). So what is the permanent solution to the problem? do i need to replace the nut? Kindly advise.

    is ur wheel alligned?
is it axel nut properly fitted anbd tightened..
is ur chain properly tightened? and adjusted,, do the marks on either side of the chain adjuster on same oint ?
if they r not ur brake shoe is not making a full surface contact,,its making a partial contact,,

stand ur bike on double stand and rotate the wheel .. check there should be no sound when no brake is applied,,

also use a good brake shoe,,
i also had this issue when i used cheapo brake shoe ,, so now in my 70 i use a 150 rs brake shoe,,
there is one that costs 250 i will try that but this one is awesome,, lasts longer doesnt needs frequent adjustement,,

so there can be many issues,,
btw how much u paid fore all the job?

Thanks for quick reply asjdsm brother.
I paid rs.150 for th kharadia and rs.250 for brake shoe from honda 5s dealer.
I recently also changed rims and they are in alignment.
I never face this problem with my front brake. It always provides best braking and I never need to tighten its nut.
I have tightened chain during my bike tuning about 10 days ago. So all is well in there.
Do u think that maybe rear brake nut is loose? what is axel nut?

Brother if possible try arranging the Honda Deluxe Brake Shoe, After some trimming you may fit it into you bike and the result are owsome.

brother what kind of trimming are you talking about? i think there is a considerable size different between Dlx and classic brake shoe.

if you think that rear Break Nut looses , then simple solution is

to tighten another nut on the back of existing break nut
Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot

Ya i think you are right because the drum size of DLX is bigger than classic.

Tighten the screw that is attached to foot rest which indeed triggers the brake. May be that helps you

    Update:

Today I had some time so I got the rear brake checked. The mechanic said that the kharadia was supposed to make a 'soft sleeve' but instead he has made a 'hard sleeve'. I do not know what this means. Can some explain? Should I go to kharadia and ask him to make the sleeve soft?

What about Drum Rubber ?? I think just take one tour of that Kharadia. Tell him that what is told by mechanic. sometimes Kharadia can solve your problem better than a mechanic. First go to any other reliable mechanic and take his sincere advice
