P.S: I was looking for Maximum Power and Torque of Suzuki GS150 Pakistani model. The same motorcycle is being sold in Philippine with the brand name of Suzuki Mola 150. All of the specs are same as that of Pakistani GS 150 so I assume, the horsepower and torque would also be the same. I hope you find it useful. Cheers.

    yes.. you're right.. .
but still its not bad (cg 125 has 11hp) with such fuel economy of 40kmpl (while cg 125 gives 25-30 kmpl).

The Indian version, GS150R has 13.8HP @ 8500rpm. But it is also a 149cc engine. Whereas the Pakistani GS150 is 145cc engine.

Is there any place (like dyno shop) in Pakistan where we could get test maximum torque and horse power of Pak Suzuki GS150?

although suzuki mola 150 has mentioned 12HP as maximum power, i belive it is at least 1.5HP more than that. why? because every motorcycle in 150 category (be it a chinese one or indian one) have 13.5 HP - 14HP.

What company mentions, mostly the output in 'real' roads is less then, that, because the numbers which they calculate is done ina closed environment, say a CD-70 Honda says it does 70+ even now they say it does 80-KM/Liter but when in 'Real' world it hardly does 55~ or some thing...

CG-125 has a Claimed HP of Maximum 10.8, which is reduced to 10 in Final drive and bike is already on the tip of gtting redlined at 9000+ RPM ...

Mola / GS150 has a company claim of 12hp, now considering it in real environment it will be disturbingly less, but as it has 25cc Advantage on CG of course it would perform better beside it has 18 tyres so will have a better Top speed too... but it is badly abused in term of acceleration though.

Yes there are dyno shops in defence lahore...
But they will charge u a lot, and i expect they will be having no way to test such a ridiculous little bike
In bikes sey tou shyd dyno ka roller ghumaya he na jae lol!

Pakistan men bara bura hal hai yar... we are getting pathetic products... 12 Bhp dey zada nai ho sakti..
remember that Cg125 is 11 horse power! with 124cc...

Power to weight ratio bhi ajati hai bheh mein... Cg has better power to weight ratio.
    12Bhp vs 120Kg isnt impressive...

Chinese bikes have worst HPs most of the time...
I remember one father was driving a chinese Hero 125.. it was a very heavy duty looking bike with self starter and broad tires and front disk.. looked like an awesome imported bike, but it was SOOOOOOO slugish that it could not even pass cd70 in acceleration!!

Im taliking ebt this one: it hero 125

Im amazed it has 12BHP....feels more like 7 or 8 BHP. I have never been a fan of GS150 engine. Mind it, other than the engine the bike is superior than its competitors but lacks engine grunt. The engine gives the bike its character and GS150 is one characterless bike. GS150 is a machine.........CG125 is an Animal.

Ride is smoother than Honda 125.

These are economy bikes not race bikes. You dont have to compare acceleration with everything on road.

This has electric start, you dont have to kick it to ride it

Yes thats the GREATEST most thing ever happened to GS and Paiggo... last 5 years never kicked ... and now when ever I get a chance to ride a CG/deluxe like one recently while doing alterations... I was pissed enough to kick every time when engine stalls... and one more thing is Battery standby Lights, Parking Lock, Parking Lights... these are some modern Equips which are despratly needed in agging bikes of Pakistan

SIR, IMHO, are you saying CG125 ? power plus which has a stock 17" RIM ?
you have info or you actually tried ? because I have actually did it not only with one GS but many GS when I had CG, accelration men CG say behter koi bike nahi pakistani bikes men... I have tested it my self... (not talking about 2-strokes because I havent tested that throughly with 2Strokers but I am sure like Mirror that GS lags in accelration if put head to head with CG)

keep in mind I am talking about both bikes in healthy condition.

GS ki topspeed zyada hai wo bhi atleast half a mile race men...

Please make correction in your knowledge, CG125 gives 44-48km/L (2012 euro 2). And comparing a 125cc class bike with 150 is injustice!

but ha125 cg125 is still quicker in terms of accelration even its 25cc less because it has better power to weight ratio.

the only thing this Classic Girl (CG) lags is modern looks and equipments, other wise its a time tested machine.. GS is more popular in Touring community rather then daily users.
