Default I Got Brand New CG But...

    A.O.A
Dear PW family, I purchased my CG125 quite earlier (just before Eid ul Azha) but posting about it now due to my laziness . Don't forget to say mashallah.

I Got Brand New CG But -340672

I Got Brand New CG But -340673

I Got Brand New CG But -340674

I Got Brand New CG But -340675

I am actually bit worried my motor bike. What I have observed that Honda has tremendously reduced build quality of their motor cycles specially CG15.
First thing that I have observed is mis-aligned rear tyre. I got to note that rear tyre is not centrally aligned to mudguard, rather it is on bit left side leaving noticeable gap at right side. I thought that might be my misunderstanding but when I measured gap between shock and tyre, it is proved that tyre is not centrally aligned rather it is bit inclined to left hand side.

Gap between right shock and that side of tyre was three and half fingers while gap on other side was hardly three fingers. I took my bike to Honda authorized work shop and they too admit that may be its “chimta” is not straight one and that they will replace it if I am not satisfied with it.
I replied that let me to check other brand new CGs. I approached the dealer from where I purchased my bike and checked all zero meter CGS standing there. To my surprise 99% CGs have this problem. Only one CG was free of this problem.

I will post the pics of my bike next morning inshallah. Please guide me what to do in this situation. Dealer said that parts are made in batched from a die. May be that whole batch is faulty one.

Please guide what to do? Is there any way to properly analyze a chimta whether it is straight or not? Why I asking for advice from you people because all new CGs where like my one.

    I don't drive fast....I just fly slow

    MashAllah bro nice bike
    congrats on purchase
i see these only in black colors, very few red ones
i think honda ne jo red banaye thi unko bhi kala karna parha hoga
too much demand for black color

go for warranty claim, change the chimta in warranty, keep on changing until u get the aligned one finally, simple time saving solution, not recommended for brand new bike but if u want to.......take it to a good bike dentor (experienced) i dont know abt multan, ask him to take the chimta out and align it on plain glass to fix it properly.

sorry, forgot to mention, sometimes the uneven chain settings also dissaligns the tire from chimta, take it to the authorized service centre and ask them to adjust the chain equally from both settings left/right keeping the tire straight and having equal distance from both sides from shocks. measure it then with the help of your fingers. i m quiet sure its not the chimta its your chain's uneven setting that has disaligned the rear tire.

given the facyt that op found 99 % bikes misaligned this is more plausible,,
there are markes on either side of the place wher the axle goes through ,, first try to see if the marks are on same positions on either side,,however don not fully rely on these marks,,

    MASHALLAH
CG125 really looks nice in black

it's not just 125's my CD70 2011 also had this problem my tire was inclined towards to the right and you could tell by looking from the rear.

Didn't do anything about it as i didn't wanted the genuine set up to be distorted and also the difference was not that much.
However if you feel that the your gap is more and it looks awkward you should definitely go for warranty claim.
If you ride like there's no tomorrow, there won't be.

Thanks friendz 4 nice comments... @Juste I always use helmet when riding bike. But to enjoy sound of Cg, sometimes I ride without helmet but that too with speed limit of 40-60...
@ziddipathan @asjdsm @Chaudhary007.... bro i have checked also these settingz and after that I sought consultation from u people.
On both sides, rear tyre is fixed at same mark. Chain is also properly rolling on both front+rear sprockets. I already checked myself. I took my bike to authorised+experienced service centre and Ustad at there too admit the fault of chimta. He said I shall visit him after Moharam to properly inspect the chimta by taking it out. He said if it can be fixed by using "Hathora" (wooden hammer) he will. If problem not resolved too he will replace that with genuine one in warranty as he is authorised service centre. I have no doubt in his status. My only concern is, shall I go for opening of that part of bike? Though opening and fixing the same is not a rocket science but I am worried it is new bike and shall not be opened. I will upload picz too to make it more clear.

first never allow these quacks use hammer on it,,as its new in warranty just claim it,,
next i don't think its necessary for the gap on either side of tyre to be same..

the only thing of concern should be alignment with with the front wheel

do not look at the rear tyre with isolation,,
what is the closest distance between the tyre and any part of body with which it has any chances of touching,,
note a small alignment of even 1cm will be easily noticeable by naked eye,,so if the min distance is more then 1 or 2cm then no need to worry about closeness,,
