    Default My 1999 CD 70

    Salam to Pakwheelers.

As previously mentioned in few threads of fellow bikers , that my bike has been in storage for many years and haven't been started up in years.
    For Reference (https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/bik...bike-community)

Thanks to all those members who gave me valuable information and correct method to starting it up. I once again need the expert views of fellow members like R1 , khanthegr8. Im planning to change the tires cause i believe that they have become hard and cracks are showing up. Plus these tires are 4-5 year old. Front tire has never been changed
Tyre suggestion is required (Suggestion for the rest of the bike is more than welcome as well ). i was hoping to get Servis Long Life for rear

    My 1999 CD 70 - longlife rear2

    3.00 - 17R6PR
"i dont know if it would fit on my bike "
For Front i was hoping to get this but unfortunately i dont know if it is available in 17R as i found it only in 18R

Images for fellow pakwheelers this is my bike for over 12 years.

Yup , ive been very very protective about my bike. But i want personal experience with the tire. Cause im not much familiar with tires and as u can see the front and rear tires are 2.25-17R , i wanted to know what if i change the rear tire to 3.00-17R what is the difference ? is the difference in Height or the width (thickness). Plus can i the first tyre is service long life (now found on honda 125 deluxe) the 2nd image is of service turbo tire
Any more suggestions regarding tire ? meaning any better option

i am also using rear 6 ply rating 2.5 ,17
it has made ride more sweet,,
    what u r looking for ?

    front ?
    rear ?

in stock sizes u only have the option of ply rating 4 or 6 , width and hight is same with either 4 or 6 pr
i m not sure if greater width (3 for rear) and higher dia (18 inch ) will fit into ur bbike but if it do then do tell us,

however ur meter will be showing slighlty incorrect speed,,

i think they can be if the hub is kept default,,if its possible ..i.e only spokes ,rim, wheel are changed,,
brake drum and hub r kept same as default,,

Brother thanks for the reply the issue that i got was that i want a good grip Tyre, since CD 70 is the most grip less bike I've seen. i was hoping to get a 3.00 R17 for rear and 2.50 for front. Dont want to alter the bike in anyway. And r18 is for the deluxe as cd70 has R17 wheel.

Went to the market today, (shop keeper suggested the below mentioned tyres). Not available on any shop ive been too. All had the original tyres that come on cd 70 the long life series

    Front
    1. Service Turbo OR Cheetah
    2.75 - 17F

    Rear
    1. service longlife rear 3.00-17R 6PR
    2. diamond altis 3.00-17
    3. diamond thunder 2.50-17
