Hi Junaid Bhai...
Yaar loved your restored bike ...
I need your help now. I have my fathers' 1979 Kawasaki 100 sports.
Still the fast and the furious, almost all of it in genuine condition. Last year I had an accident that caused dents in front mud-guard and shocks. I got some repairing but not loved it.
Last month, I had it tuned from a local mechanic. He did it great but he changed the silencer muffler 'baansri'. Now the sound is really really weird.
WHat I need you to do is please let me know if you know any Auto Parts Store in RAWALPINDI from where I could find the genuine parts. I am still unable to find the genuine 'taapay (side covers) and muffler tip'.
I'd be grateful.... :-/
lekin fuel tank se petrol off kar k chalai thi taqreeban more than half kilometer gai thi, i think its better milage, plug is also just brown
han 65 mein sara kaam hua hai
i am asking 70k F.S.

Oho ... Junaid Brother ... Mein Karachi aaya tha October 2011 mein but us waqt meray damagh mein e nae aaya k wahan se pta kr loon... :/
Anyways, I shall contact you in the morning on your cellphone.
Just how every bike in the world should be, I have a pretty hard time working the stupid, (all down system) that we have in Pakistan.
You should have got allen head screws for the engine firstly they look great, secondly they are very hard and long life and thirdly you dont need an impact driver to do and undo.
All screws would have cost Rs 200-250 at max.
my experience with front fork legs (stanchions) while repairing my Yamaha RX115 was quite irritating, I could not find any sort of good condition fork legs, the ones that were passed as "zabardast" even by pro shops could not seal the 10W30 oil as recommended by Yamaha. So I had my set hard chromed at an industrial chroming place, it cost me Rs 4400/- for them but they were layered with it and then ground dead zero again, They came out far far better than even the original new ones that Yamaha provided, I put them on filled with correct oil and protected them with a couple of genuine quality gaiters on the exposed stanchions. The result was absolute perfect road holding capability under any situation, if you saw it from another bike or car you could see them constantly working to smooth out the road, It also helped in aggressive acceleration as it prevented wheel lift.
I used to follow a regimen of changing fork oil every year, and made sure that the gaiters were always clean.

Salam junaidakhtar01 brother.
I wanted to ask you something that you mentioned in this thread.
Below are the pics of ur GTO's original front shocks.
Last week I got my cg125 (classic, 2008 model) front shocks repaired as they had become very hard and needed spring change. I saw similar marking (as I have circled red in the pictures above) on one of my front shocks. I wanted to ask how can I fix it? Do i need to re-chrome that part? Also what causes these markings on the shocks? Are they due to rust?
I would greatly appreciate if you could take some time to answer this brother
