when dust stop on these shafts, during working it works like emery
when we don't care of these shafts
and its unrepairable
chahe kesa bhi chrome ho kch din mein seal dbara leak karegi
u have to install new shafts
and take care of them from dust causing rust and
If you can find a newer set for your bike then that is the most economical repair - otherwise you will be spending about Rs 5000/- or more for rechroming the fork legs like I did (but I am a bit crazy) Front fork oil is supposed to be changed out every year to keep them in good condition, because the oil inside them collects dust from the top and breaks down by being worked in the hydraulic chamber. If yours went hard I believe the oil being used was too thick or the regulating valve blocked up with debris, Your CG125 forks use 10W30 engine oil, the older ones with external springs used ATF
ZRS - Zulfiqar Racing Systems ..... - professionals at work - at crackwheels.com
ATF is more recommended then 10W30
thin oil means great flow in working
so soft so comfortable / spring should be under their recommended size
if they r pressed then ground clearance will be decreases
@ junaidakhtar01 & Xulfiqar - Brothers thanks a lot for your input. I think new rods are abou t rs.1200. Inshallah I will change them when I can. Once again thanks for explaining the problem and its remedy in detail

I'm Ali from Karachi. I'm buying a GTO125,very cheap, but the problem is that i'm worried if I would be able to make it a ride worth seeing???
It has got a lot of work to be done in engine, suspension, disc brake and accessories like Speedometer and console?
Should I go for it?Or should I prefer Honda CG125?
what i can say ?
u can not compare cg125 with gto125
or gto125 with cg125
both have totally different riding pleasure
and both restoration will cost u enough
gto125 cost u more than cg125 in restoration
soooo, its upto u that
what is ur budget
what is ur demand
i am asking 70k for this ride
I personally love 2stroke bikes.I own a Yamaha YB100 since 2003.I was in Rawalpindi then,But here in Karachi the 2stroke trend is dying. No 1 bother to even listen abt 2 strokes.Above all! There are't any good mechanics for 2 strokes...
It's Lahore registered. He is asking 12000/-.I can spend around 15000/-. I never restored any Kawasaki before. Is this amount adequate for overhauling?
i dont think so that u should go for gto125
in 15000 u can not restore the whole bike
agar kaam chalane wali baat hai to u know better that what u r taking in 12k
Go for GTO.
Ap ko mehnat to krni pary gi GTO125 par lekin riding pleasure bhi to hy na.
In my opinion Cg125 ko agr compare kia jaye to GTO k krib bhi nhn bhtkta.
A well maintained GTO125 can give fuel average like CG125.
Also it can beat CG.
Choice is yours.
