try cooperative market saddar where they sell batteries for emergency lights etc u will surely found 6v battery for yr cd200. it will be maintenance free battery and normally they work for couple of years before they die, price will be around 550 to 800 rupees depends upon yr bargaining skills.

they will work just fine i got them installed in my 2 gs150 / 1 in kawasaki gto 125 off course 12volt versions of them, also they used to be installed in my 185 twin when i converted her into 12v cdi version.
in fact u will be tension free for many years as they don't required maintenance.

u r correct abt the changing of coil , condenser etc as i don't believe that 12v battery will do any good for the 6v default setup of the bike.
i was told the same thing by 1 of the electrician when i ran out of the spare of 6v , but then i changed to 12v cdi setup and got rid of 6v setup once for all.
go for the 6v battery as told before and u will be more than pleased with their performance.

    kind regards
