    Default Ignition switch

I had my bike washed, it started doing missing so i went to a mechanic.
He told me that the problem is with the ignition switch as it has become short due to water. When he disconnected the switch (made it direct) and told me to go for a try the bike was doing fine, so obviously the problem is with the switch.
Now i am a bit concerned that should i now go for only the switch and use the key which will come along with it for starting and use the old key for handle lock and tapas or should i replace the whole system and have one key.
    Advise is needed.

    Bike is: HONDA CD70 2011

If you ride like there's no tomorrow, there won't be.

Buy a new switch then go to a locksmith. Give him your key and ask him to adjust the new lock for that key. He will charge you around rs.50 for that and then you can use your existing key for your new ignition lock
