bro i think you should go for dry cell battery 12v and 9a or 7a. i was seeking some info regarding HID in market. every shopkeeper and wiring guys told me to go for it. and you will need lil alteration in your bike. bcoz the battery is big.

there will be no problm with battry if u take care of it in proper way.... big drawback of this battry is that if it gets dry then it gone out very soon... otherwise they are best and has a very long life......eg my bike battry is still good since 2009....... what i do... i check the watter lavel every week and if the level is droped i fill it with distilled watter.... and it drive pressure horn and other lights perfectly...
but ones it dry then it goes dead very quickly...
so for long life take care of it........ like u do of your self..

The first battery in my GS150 lasted three years; the replacement lasted three weeks. Perhaps you would be better off with a sealed battery.

A bigger than original battery shall last longer, but make sure it fits the battery box. Batteries are known for their unreliable temperament. I bought a brand new one for my FZr once that lasted hardly a month and another did fine for more than two years.

Avoid buying Chinese, locals are much better if you cannot find any better, Japanese or Thai, etc.
