    Red face Need some help

    So here is the news
I got my hands on a brand new cg-125
This is my first time that I have bought a bike so I,ll be needing some advices
I wanted to use high octane during the running period of my bike but every second person including mechanics have discouraged me
they say that high octane is for high performance engines and it will ruin the engine of my new bike as it is very dry
I want to know that is this true because another friend who is a rider says that he has been using high octane in his honda cd-70 by mixing it in petrol and he is happy and his bike is running smoothly?
expert opinion with solid reason is required from pakwhelers
    waiting for response
    thankyou

Well you know that for saving the bike from knocking use Hi Octane Petrol mixed with the ordinary petrol. Make it one litre in Three litres. i.e. one litre hi octane and then three litre normal. But decrease this ratio afterwards

also guide me that which engine oil should i use?
my friend has a cd-70 and he is using castrol magnetic (people use in cars) 4liter pack
it is of grade 10w40 but dealers suggest me to use genuine oil which is 20w40
my friend says magnetic is performing excellent in his cd-70
should i use the genuine 20w40 oil or use magnetic which my friend uses?

Ok guys so the current news is that my bike has completed its running.
I changed the oil at 500kms on my mechanics advice and now changed it again.
Trust me the Atlas honda motor oil is bekaar.
It came out black and there was no viscousity in it.
I want to use some other oil the next time
I have poured caltex havoline this time and Im interseted in using the castrol magnetic 10w40.
I have checked the quality of castrol magnetic and it seems the best option available
Please tell me what advantages or disatvantages can happen if I use a different grade oil such as 10w40?
