    Exclamation Havoline 20W-50 (CD70)

Well as the title says can Caltex Havoline 20W-50 Motor oil be used for CD70, and is there a quality difference between this and the 4T motorcycle oil ?
If i use it should i expect better pickup mileage ?
    Thanks in advance

From my experience of using all these oils, i believe there is very little difference.(19,20)
However using oils such as Liqui Moli and Valvoline one can get significant improvement in performance, although i doubt whether these oils are actually made for these small engines.
The most important thing in my opinion is that one should stick to one oil and buy it from a reliable source instead of experimenting as this has a negative impact on the engine.
Considering the ratings of these oils ZIC 4t had a very high rating JASO MA and API-SJ. Used it for 4000kms didn't feel any difference so again doubt arises whether these oils are actually manufactured considering those standards.

Currently using it, wouldn't say it's the worst but than again there is nothing special about it

I am using Caltex havoline for around 1 year and its the gives the best response in my bike, i usually travel 50km/day and change the oil around 800~1200km. One thing I hate is that their are many fake oil available which are only found when you open it and take the oil in hand otherwise its really hard to judge from the packaging

Havoline may not be Jaso MA certified, but one can't overlook the fact that many people have used it in their bikes for 50k+ kilometers, with no engine work required and no clutch slippage problem either.
Though personally i would always go for a bike specified oil, for my peace of mind.
Currently using Kixx (20W50, SL, Jaso MA) in GS150, and happy with it.

Yes it is as its the viscosity level of it , the one you have just described 20W-40 or 20W-50

Aray kia standard jab wo log galat viscosity level ka oil banay *** to engine ki watt to lag jay gi na . have hear a lot of bad about zic oil from mechanics and its users as well .All of them including me concluded its only for colder areas and not for cities where we have 45 degree Centigrade

First thing first Caltex Havoline 20W-50 is not for motorbikes. They haven't written any such thing on their pack as well .Also Caltex is providing this viscosity in car oils. So all of honda 125 users are being fooled by them k pata nai app ka engine kitna bara hai k jis waja se app ko humara wo oil use karna paray ga k jis pe hum yeh likhtay hein best for light engine vehicles aur yehi num car ol mein bhu daty hein ........

But 20W-40 is design for bikes and they are also claiming the same . Design for old style motorcycle engine.
Aur waisay bhi market mein most of the manufacturer yehi viscosicty level produce kar rahay hein including all honda .
Abb log kahein *** k wo tokhud Shell se oil laitay hein to mein kaho ga k atleast apni specs kay according oil to banwatya hein phir chay kisi say ho . What i believe k wo PSO se OIL lay rahay hein

So that is for sure k 20W-40 is the best as if we would be getting technical tau Honda multigrade oil suggest kar hai abb i mien diffeernce ziayda rakhana app ki marzi hai but then you need to be very concious with temp .in extreme summers thick can alos be used but in winters only thinner is good .
So its smart to have something that could meet all demands

Kixx 20w50 is a good cheap semisynthetic oil..Aur agar yeh nai dalna to Liqui Moly 20w50 istamaal kar lain..20w40 20w50 k chakar main na parhai to behtar hai..I am using 20w50 LM in m CD 100 and it has very great milage..STill viscous like new at 15oo Kms though the oil has turned dirtier(as it is displacing grime)

look at the manual fro recommended ratings .. and brands ..

also for real world experience of any brand oil in real bike ask those who own it .. they will better answer it ..

if quality is concerned then i would go for castrol active 4t .. as i have noted that it lasts longer and gives better performance ..
