Default Suggestions Required in Purchasing New Bike

    AOA WW,

Guys hope you are all well and enjoying Ramazan. Guys I am planning to buy a new bike, I have two options in my mind Suzuki GS-150 Euro II and Honda CG-125 Euro II. Your valuable suggestions and experiences required in deciding for which one to go. My daily running of bike will be approximately 50~55Kms and I don't drag the bike much. Saw another thread with same topic, there most of the people are saying that Honda CG-125 Euro II is the best. I don't know about the internal Engine Parts, but Honda have degraded the quality of visible parts in new Euro II like Grips (steel to plastic), Handles, Seat Quality etc etc. What about GS-150 ? ? ?
    Regards,
    Kashif Rafiq

I also ask this question from my current mechanic (a very nice and honest person who knows each and every inch of the Honda bikes especially CG-125, basically he was a Honda 3S Dealer but now he is retired due to health problems) who is currently looking after my bike. he said don't go for that, because you will change the damaged parts but what about the base on which these parts will be fixed ? ? ? To repair that, you will definitely go to "Kharadiya" who will repair that. But that repair won't last long and after some time you'll again start complaining about the performance of your bike and use bad words for me and I don't want that .

So, what do you guys say ? ? ?
    Regards,
    Kashif Rafiq

Guys, which one is better option as per your experiences:

    A Well Maintained CG-125 of 2008~11 model
    or
    A New CG-125 Euro II 2012 Model

    and why ???

50Km daily is a lot of travel for a bike.....
Your first priority should be comfort factor which is zero in CG125...
All the fun in CG125 is dragging it in short stretches.... and you have said it yourself that you don't drag the bike much either....
CG125 is good for dragging only... nothing else (my opinion)
So my vote goes to GS-150.

Right now, I require another suggestion from your side, currently I own a CG-125 1990 Point model. the exterior condition of the bike is very good, but the condition of the engine is not very good rather i'd say its bad. do u think that the restoration of that bike is a good idea ???

What about the availability of old model spare parts and can you guys suggest any good mechanic of point / old models in Rawalpindi locality ? ? ?
knew that, you will go for cg

The new Euro 2 CG125 is fuel efficient and environment friendlier than previous models... It also has less vibrations on high RPMs...

Go for the new one. Apki apni bhi satisfaction hogi k yeh bilkul new ha. Used ka phir bhi hota ha k pta nahi previous owner kese chalata hoga, koi accident, etc...

tell u guys why buyers go for cg
    1-its power
    2-its sound
    nothing else
1-nobody cares is it fuel efficient or not
    2-nobody bothers the environment
@poster i will prefer that you should go for 90,s model and do restore it at its best
    then
it will be beast i mean it
coz we would buy it(cg) for power not for comfort rather its not much comfortable bike with hard suspension
so in less money u can have much power then newer one
but ur keen intention will be required for the restoration

Right now, I own a 1990 model and my elder brother owns a 1991 model. Both point models (not converted to CDI's), as most of the peoples have done. Condition of my bike is not so good rite now, as told earlier. But my brother's 1991 is in a very good condition and I love to drag it whenever I gets a chance and it never let me down .

agree with the environment point, but disagree on the fuel efficiency point. Alhamdulillah, i am getting 45 ~ 50 km / litres from my bike in current condition.
