Default Poor quality of GS 150;Guys advice me what to do.

I own GS 150 from last 5 month 8k Km done no issue except oil leakage from head which has been fixed in first week of purchase.
On 27 of last month it has a strange sound in 2nd gear i rush toward showroom located at marid chowk.one of their mechanic checked it and said may be its bearing has broken(aur palla change ho ga) which i cant understand what is palla and it is better to leave here in showroom.bike is in warranty so they make claim and it took 15 days so that parts arrive from Karachi.yesterday they call me,bike is ready when i go to show room i came to know that whole engine has been opened and crank case has been changed(and this thing pinching me) engine no is also punched on it.

I request from experience members kindly put some light on this issue is it normal that crank case has changed.

Pak Suzuki is the biggest of looters in Pakistan. Selling cheap product with Japanese tag on it. Only 8k mileage and a crank change, call it what you may, I wish we had Hitler in place of Zardari so we could report such a fault to him.

Thats why I keep saying stop being a victim of these looters, buy used bikes instead or keep your old ones till we start getting good stuff. These companies are flying in the 7th sky, we need to dash them to the ground.

I think suzuki is producing worst quality motorcycles in Pakistan
I have not heard of these kind of problems even in chinese motorcycles
I mean look at how many complains we have seen only on pakwheels
and that too in their brand new motorcycles

seems like the crankcase was problematic - the word palla is used by some mechanics for crankshaft wheel. If they changed it under warranty and you did not get charged whats your problem?

1: oil leakage so earlier is very bad thing.luckily it got fixed...\
2: if all is sorted out then dont worry ..just enjoy it .. its normal to bee pinched by such things when u pay exhorbitant price and get a boolsheet item..
3: lok at your bikes papers all numbers on it should match hose on bike else ask them to rectify it ..
4: if its in warranty its time to puush a bit its lmits .. i like to test new things as advised for some time when i get sufficient heart on it .. i start pushing it to limits to see if its all ok .. if its ok it will work flawlssly .. its a little bit test that i always do .. so u should use it as advisd for some trime then start pushing it to limits..

4: crankcase is the case which holds the entire gear and other mechanisms .. its just a case .. it it was leaked/broken then obviously chnging it with ok part is natural choice.. if u mean crankshaft (phalla) .. same goes here .. clarify what u mnean by crank

all in all if its in ok condition now .. dont worry .. just carry the above test if u like it ..

^^ dis balanced crankshaft or improper fitting or a contamination by small metal fragments or shavings can cause the crank shaft to go bad .. as thats rotating hell fast ...

    may be improper fitting ..

however this issue is neither new nor unique to one company .. it can happen to any bike or engine..

Dont know about people claiming suzuki to sell cheap parts but i had one in 2005 and used for six years and a total of 25000 kms without any fault of the above nature. Normal maintenance was done as with any other bike. Bike chalna per be depend kerta ha.
Mera saath aisa honda 125 main hua tha i bought a new honda poora 1000 kms chalna ka baad us ka engine awaz ker gaya or warranty main unho na woh palla change kia. us ka baad na woh sound raha na woh speed.
I believe Honda is bigger looters then Suzuki.

did i just hear some suzuki bashing ???????.... what you are suffering from is that ONE FAULTY PIECE which was overlooked by everyone at the suzuki factory. Suzuki may not be one of the best bikes around but PLEASE...have some respect for the bike with the biggest production engine in Pakistan. Its pure bad luck and it can happen to anyone. I have owned a Suzuki bike in the past (a sprinter 110 non eco) and my brother has a GS150 since 2006 and it runs like a charm. Your engine got replaced by SUZUKI and you're still in WARRANTY so why sweat? give it a shot... "NEW THINGS DON'T BITE "
