Default CG 125 - HID issues

    Aslamoalikum !

I recently upgraded my 91 (point) to CDI (please no pro 'point' comments, whats done is done !) and decided to install HID lights. It works just fine. I'm now looking to get high end accessories (not the cheap chinese ones). But before i do that, i need to know if there will be enough electrical output to support all that. I reckon there are different quality bulbs available although im not sure if the price differential is because it consumes more power (besides the difference in brands).

I have friends overseas (US, UK and UAE), so i won't have problems getting the right stuff. I just wanna know if my bike will be compatible with them or not.

I'm currently looking to buy the following item

9005 6000K Motorbike HID conversion kit (Single Beam) - HID-online

    Product Description

    9005 Motorbike HID kit comprising 1 x HID 9005 Lamp/1 x Slim Ballast
    35W/85V 6000K colour Temp

Im not sure if the bulb size if correct not but that can wait. What im and doing is i'm not ordering anything until i confirm that my shiny new toys will work on my bike in the first place !

What do you guys think ?

125 cc Bike using the 12v transmission as you knew that already. According to the given specs you written here 35w/85v means it will run on 85v battery that doesn't compatible with your bike's battery in my opinion.

Thanks a lot. I'll have to check my current battery specs (i know i have a dry battery for my HID, but besides that i cant tell). What do you suggest i do then ? I've seen so many 125's on the road with excellent bright lights. They are my envy

Any suggestions as to which brand i should go for, if i buy locally ? The kind of battery, charger, ballast and the bulb ?
