    Question Sprockets

i have recently purchased 35/15 sprockets for CD70. When i went to get them installed the mechanic told me that it's bad idea."Engine khatam ho jay ga".
Now I want experts opinion on this whether i should get them installed or remain with stock 41/14.

Yes your mechanic is right.. As it will put an extra burden on engine. So slowly it will kill the engine..

I dont know what craze our nation has about changing sprockets!

I mean how it can add to more of something?? It adds NOTHING at all!! Its a plain compromise here or there...

If it adds top speed, then it kills acceleration!

If it adds acceleration, then it kills top speed!

In both ways, engine gets extra load at different RPMs...

It is basically a useless thing buddy!

stock sprockets ratio would be made after long period of experiences and we ruined it in a second, your bike,s stock ratio is almost equal to 3 and you wanted to replace it by 2.33 ratio....its huge difference between secondary reduction ratio, and your bike,s engine is smaller to perform on this ratio, u will also lose acceleration and also the control on bike and not more then 10 km of top speed will increase, so avoid it....
