    Question Rear Tyre for Junoon

    Hi everybody,how u doing.
My Yamaha Junoon came with Panther 2.50-18 4PR stock rear tyre. Front wheel has same tyre too and for a drum brake, it provides enought braking power at the front.
But i am not satisfied with its grip at the rear. It skids too easily.

So i tried a bigger tyre "Panther 3.00-18 6PR", but result was worst this tyre used to skid even more than 2.50-18 4PR. All it did was a little decrease in acceleration and increased fuel consumption, reduced around 5Km/L with this tyre. The tyre with its tube was quite heavy as compared to stock one.
Anyway , i just put the stock tyre back on.
Now i want a tyre with excellent grip but not too big in size ( as size doesn't always matter as i experienced).
Kindly tell me some good options in 2.50/2.75 size. 3.00 is probably a little too much for Junoon.

Below are the pics of stock and upgraded one

tyre looks impressive but size mentioned on their site is smaller
they should have made this tyre in bigger size
size such as CG 3.00 17 or for deluxe tyre size

There are some very good tyre but they have failed to get attention of people
There is tyre Service Turbo 2.75.18
Its an excellent tyre but you won't see this in market now
it by chance may be available on some shops else i think it won't be available

^^Yes just noticed, Correction: it wont be good for sprinters and cd100 as i think both have 18 inch rims.!

Service has better range... 3.0/17 of CG too and 3.0/18 for Suzuki gs

i have yet to see anybody satisfied with 3.0/18 on GS. Most of them upgrade to 90/90 or 100/90 right away

I have not driven Gs ever, cant comment on that.. but with that power, and inertia Im sure extra braking power would bring satisfaction of mind.
