    Default My brother from an other mother,Master 100's visit to Hidalgo Customs

    Yesterday was a joy day , a memorableday my best friend and big brother Master 100 aka Mr Asad Jamal visited me for few hours. it was always as nice to see him n chit chat.he was in islamabad after their Tilla jogyan adventure , he came to me along with his friend, we went home n had some tea n deserts. after that he wanted to visit the confidential hidalgo custom garage so we set offto the garage . Master came on his beloved yd junoon . 2008 model that still runs n sounds like brand new.at garage , asad aka devils kreed joined us and it was v nice trip . enjoyed alot.

    Yaar can u guys believe mere with Kia hora hai?? Last 2,3 dafa cd70 wala guys crossed me when I was at full speed!! And I was like Wdh!??? :p
    95 Maxing almost, my bike engine screaming ... but then a 70 comes and start cruising easily by my side, next it over takes me with ample acceleration :"(

    Those must be altered I think?
    Aik dafa cd100 with 2 guys overtook me with ease whereas I was single riding?
    Same happened with cd70 too.... those guys doubling, me single and they crossed me with ease. Bike sound really smooth, my bike screaming hard even then left behind!??

    I wonder what sort a modification they might be having? Their engine heads were original so no bigger bores, no swaps

    Sir, gussa na karain. CD100 bilkul bhi slow nahi hai, i am just saying marginaly junoon may be little better.
    A CD100 once crossed my Junoon when i was clocking 90km/h at GT road between okara and sahiwal.
    I was clocking 90 only because i had pillion rider also, and my junoon was coming almost nonstop from ISL that day so a little bit tired as well.

    i am quite sure, it was the RIDER in that case, Asad is still new to biking and i am sure if you were on CD100 then the result would have been different

    gull asad is quite tall n healty . mota ha na . m smart thats y yeah it did mattered in that sprint , he was new to road , night time alot of rush . but i was carring stove (b.b,q) at tank of my bike and an other pakwheeler Muhammad sajjad @munnapk was at his kawasaki sports

    These r my personal views, every one has rights to differ.

    1-Junoon has more Power.
    2- Top speed wid single rider is almost same bt wid pillion Junoon has more top speed
    3- Fuel efficiency almost same in city ride...above 80KPH CD100 gives little better millage.
    4-CD100 has better road grip
    5-CD100 has better comfort level. But its seat bocome press (baith jati hai) after 3,4 hrs ride. Junoon has no such issue.
    6-Junoon has better maneuverability.

    ----------YAMA4 (YB Shape) is better than CD100 & Junnon in all terms cuz it has less weight and ability of better air cutting.

    may be final reduction ratio was the alteration point, or it may be a 78cc version, its known to speed and over rev very easyily to higher speeds.

    Ok so I am a little boored from my 100cc's power... its good for cruising but it doesn't have ample power or top speed.
    For now I cannot change my bike since I do not have any budget for it... so how can I modify it in a way I get better top speed like 100 at least and can improve the acceleration too?

    Aftermarket air filters, those small ones do they help?
    Plugs? Iridium plugs??
    Sprockets can get me better top speed yea but what combination?
    What else,the mid should be harmless for the engine life...

    First Step First:

    GET more Horses First : Increase compression, switch to thiner Gaskit (in close survalance of good alteration mechnic or it will get Valve busted), bore a bigger piston.

    Fine Tune Transmission: Modify FinalReductionRatio again you need an expert sitting beside you to decide which set of Ratio would work FITT.

    Accelration or TopSpeeed: Focus what you reall desire a top notch Speed or a bullet accelration (I would choose accelration) because we use it in city.

    Final Chain Sprocket: change Final transmission Chain Garari accordint to what you need ...

    Get Better Air Filter, tune Carb for high performance rather then High economy.


    Damn these alterrations its a complete Ocean!

    auto for real gain u need real modification , air intake increase , combustion chamber increase(big piston n internals ) and short and quick exhaust aswell.

    yea, and If I am inplace of aotu I would do it as invisibly as it can be so that it cant be traced that if ever the engine is ever opened, but infact gives killer response to make people more confuse ...

    Just Imagine the face of a 125 rider if you just overtake at speed of110km with non visible modifications .. and he will think he is dreaming :-D hahh ah ahhah ah hahhahahhah ha

    You are thinking correct but Sir! a gain at one side is a loss at other side one has to decide what he really wants

    those 70s which zoom passed you will end up scraped soon in say' a year or a two because they were tuned above their capacity, but on the other hand, same 70s will be remembered to take over a higher capacity bike.
