Default My observations for my Suzuki Sprinter Standard.

    Salam, All,

I recently purchased a second hand Suzuki Sprinter Standard, 2009 model. You can see some pics later in this thread.

Overall an excellent bike, I must say.

Looks are ok, not very sporty neither very classic.

Parts Quality is very good. Finishing is good. Chrome is durable won't get rusty very easily.

Very Comfortable bike due to its sitting position, rider sits in a straight position which reduces the strain in your back and shoulders. I ride it for 30 - 40 kms in one go and I was not feeling any sign of tiredness despite I drive thru busiest road of Karachi.

It has very good gear shifting system. There is no jerk while shifting any gear number be it 1,2,3 or 4th gear. You will get no jerk when you come to first or second gear, very less compression effect which adds more comfort to your ride.

The power and acceleration is awesome I can say without any doubt.
I am not a speedy rider normally drives at 50 - 60 km/h range. But on this bike I easily went pass 80 - 90km/h range in no time and in the third gear don't know about the fourth gear because after reaching 90 I reduced my speed. Amazing thing is that there was no vibration at all. Bike was not screaming, not appealing for the fourth gear. Very strong engine.

Road grip is another plus of this bike. I ride thru windy areas, and on high speeds, road grip remains great and you can stop the bike easily, no tyre slip.

Very fuel efficient. Giving me 63-65 km/liter with an average speed of 60 - 70km/h.

No cold start problem whatsoever. Starts in first kick even in low temperature in morning. Engine RPM remains constant be it in cold or after the long ride. Mechanic told me that it is due to very efficient butterfly system carburetor. Kick every time remains soft due to a lifter in the head.

So this is what I have observed so far.

    Regards,

P.S. I am not an employee of Pak Suzuki. All the above I have mentioned is just an honest feedback.

just a few months back i had purchased a Chinese 70CC bike. I try best at my level to keep it clean so that it may not get rust.. but to my astonishment, rust has started within 3 months of purchase..
My bike is 6 months old with around 5000km driven has started wiring problems recently, like some times indicators does not work of one or the other side. After sometime indicators start working by itself... amazing na

Petrol average, it is giving to me is between 66 - 68 km/litre. I specifically check the fuel average since I was also concerned about it. I am very happy after this much of average with around 4 year used bike.

    Deal was done at 40K.

    Masha Allah

    Congratulations ...

Its seat is looking altered with some comfortable seat otherwise big problem with this bike was uncomfortable seat you will feel sitting on brick, but here seems correct

Moreover, it is discussed many times that its meter is faulty and always shows little high speed, similarly Odo also not correct. I am not blaming, please check and correct us

    Thanks

Today, when I was coming to office I observed carefully both the speed accuracy and the kms reading. Both are found to be accurate. Sprinter odo meter gave me same reading that is the number of kms in between my home and the office which I was used to get from my previous bike (Star DL70) meter. I checked the km readings at more than 3 different spots, they were same as of my previous bike meter reading. So there is no error in this regard.

For speed check, I compare my meter's needle with different 70's and two cultus, every time I got the same readings. When I was at 60 the same reading I observed in other vehicle. When I was at 40 again same readings. So no error in this regards as well.

In my opinion, it is just a conspiracy against such a good bike which keep us away and force us to stick with love of 70's. I was too under the impression that this is fail bike but when I did a test ride my self I got to know the value of it.

This bike is so smooth in running that it sometime create a doubt that speed needle is not accurate because at the speed of 70 or 80, we are used to lots of vibration and screaming of bike which sprinter wont give to you. No vibration no screaming so rider thought it is giving false readings.

So far Suzuki has made only one hardcore bike and that is "SPRINTER" my mechanic told me this bike has no quality control issues and its engine and chassis is rock solid.

Well I don't have guts . My mechanic has already touched 120km/h and he was not finished with the accelerator. He was saying that the rider should have the dare to move its butterfly full and see the result . I am honestly telling you this.

The speedometer error of both Suzuki sprinters is a known fact! The speed is 15-20kmph over stated.

Yup my mechanic didn't say 160km/h because he was giving me true values. He was a real racer and I know him. He drove my Star 70 non altered till 110km/h so Suzuki 110 is no objection. I would like to again confirm the values. If any one wants to deny then he should ride first or if he already ride then get your bike in perfect condition because mine is in MashAllah say. I shared my experienced after self observation no suni sunaye.

I compared the needle position with two different cultus and different 70's, speed shown were same. I do not observe any faulty values in my bike's meter.

I would higly recommend people to but suzuki sprinter instead of Honda CD-100..It is now overpriced at 84,500--97 cc bike..Sprinter gives you power as well as economy..And a very efficient engine
The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, is that, deep down inside, we all believe that we are above-average drivers.
