    that is a reed valve assembly to inject fresh air into the exhaust to burn off any unburnt fuel and clean out the emmissions. Its a PITA when the reed goes bad.

    think its the "PATTAKHA"
    the recent 125 is currently having built in,
    seems to be a created for that purpose

    yes and its present in all chinese 70cc euro II bikes ...

    OK…so it’s a reed valve assembly so help un-oxidized pollutant fumes to burn with air fresh within the Silencer and emissions are cleaner and Euro-II Compliant.

    Next Question arises…… why don’t we see the same units on Euro-II Hondas and Suzukis.

    It seems like a “afterthought”…A “jugaar” to make the bike Euro-II, not to mention it looks bad on a naked bike.

    Its a Euro II emission controller, not really needed on such small engines dont know why they put it on a 70cc engine.

    PATAKHA is not builtin in 125 ... Its an aftermarket thing ....

    i saw a 70cc engine with turbo that was something to look at, i wonder when the gear is shifted does it make that turbo sound which i hear in NFS lolx but honestly i wanna see a local bike with turbo wanna know how it works and all!

    Its a highly modified 300cc naturally aspirated monster on Honda Deluxe Chassis.
    Engine on this particular bike has a Charade Piston and oversize and ported head.
    I've heard it redlines at 100km/hr in 2nd gear......insane right.
    Icing on the cake.........
    HAN now plans to install a turbo........ this guy is nuts!

    let me add little more info regarding this... he is not the first one doing this... the mechnics chain whom he is getting help in this have a chain of satisfied "Racing" customers who are using these same mods in normal powerplus CGs.... last weekend we were on ring road again and one of the customer who is using modified CG power plus for a year now also came along han when we gather up on Ring Road .. his CG is still quicker then Deluxe which really bothers HAN ...

    Hans goal is to beat the modified powerplus so he is going for turbo/Nos and other performance alternatives... but right not the bike is skitting in first gear so we have dumped the plan of testing further and going for wider tyres and rims e.t.c..


    even he comes rarely on Pakwheels most of the time he is busy with the bike when ever i call him...

    o fity mu on these theories ! moma boys should go for sports category to enjoy thrill !
    other day i saw a CD 70 with out engine i asked the mechanic where is engine he said its gone on alteration 30 k is being spent on its engine .
    i was like wtf is mae 4 cyl engine dal re ho !
    These bike are made for petrol averages every day use !

    other day 1 of my friend did a project of gsxr 1200 engine in custom chopper ! that was project dam that exhaust this is a dum project!

    Yep! modifying CG125 is not new...... Mechanics really know to play with these engines.

    Love Story:
    A freind's freind had one such highly modified CG125....... It too had a Charade Piston and almost everything imaginable installed to make it fast.......It was a naturally aspirated engine........ I remember once I asked the owner how much has he spent on the modifications and he said.....in the course of 1 year he spent 1 lac rupees on modifications and tweaking. That Bike was fast..........
    That guy was almost killed in a road accident when he collided with a rickshaw on M.A Jinnah Road Karachi at 120km/hr....... He was unable to walk for 1 year. He gave up motorcycling after that.....

    Chaddi 125......NO GOOD!
    Actually I'm a little against modifying CG-125....... actually let me re-phrase it.....I'm against how ppl modify CG125 in Karachi. They increase the power to make it fast...but pay no attention on larger brakes or wider tyres...... Infact some maniacs install narrower tyres to increase speed even further. Its not the right way to do it......and when I heard HAN is installing wider tyres and disc brakes it was a sigh of relief.
