Its available almost everywhere, you can find them very easily at markets like, water pump, Ghareebabad market, Akbar road market , Market Behind Dilpasand (MA Jinnah Road), etc etc.

Buy from the nearest market as the price difference wont be that much. Beware of copies, and when I say beware I dont mean Chinese copies are bad......... they are not bad at all but shopkeepers sometimes sell you Chinese copies at AHL prices.

Genuine AHL carb will set you back atleast 3,500 rupees (not sure of the exact price) whereas good Chinese copy cost a little over Rs.1,000.

there are two type of carb ever came with CG to pakistan, the old one with slim "salyeee and bore" and shorter float bowl.. then they upgraded it to a new carb with a bigger salyee, bore and floating bowl plus some changes in jets as well....

Both carbs came in CDI version where as point CGs used to have smaller older carb only uptill 91. the bigger bore carb performs better.

    VENTURI

A constricted throat in the air passage of a carburetor, causing a reduction in pressure that results in fuel vapor being drawn out of the carburetor bowl. Let the pictures speak for themselves:

I think the carbs will not be vastly different and CDI carb will work just fine on a point model.

bro if the venturi size is difference, then both will work differently
bigger venturi will must leads towards better pick up n top, and this is the only main difference

bhai jan shyid ap sahi kehty hon but mene tu jo dekha wo bataya, If you place both carb side by side the older one is slimmer more rounded and gives an over all smaller look (just compare the magnet tappa of Old CG and new CG or just compare the Clucth tapap of poiinter CG with new CG (now I hope you will get my point that which one looks slimmer and smaller ) ...

May be inside the venture is bigger but the new carb had more corners and bigger bowl I keenly noticed it while I was planning to put a 125 carb on a Pointer RoadMaster and had to decide which one would be used in that old thumper to have better fuel ecnomy.

may be venturi is bigger but it is not bigger by out side if dono ko sath rekh k dekhye ga (not talking about venturei thing its an inside thing and I dont know about it frankly ) ... but bowl of new one is bigger or uper wala hisa almost same hai with few different curves..

Rachor line may china ka maal bhara howa hai ab. agar mil bhi gaya purana tow re-jet kerwana bhi par sakta hai, butterfly ka kaam bhi ho sakta hai and rebuilt kit lekar sari internal seals change kerni per sakti hain........I really dont think its worth it. Naya lelo bhai........CDI wala unit itna different nahi hosakta. Loog 125 ka carb.....cd-200 may lagwatay hain.....meri cd-175 may bhi CG-125 ka CDI wala carb laga aya tha........adjustment hojati carb ki as per the engine requirement.
