Default Need Suggestions regarding 100CC bike.

    Hello,

I want to give a bike as gift to brother for his college.

70CC is not for him as he is heavy

Can you please recommend any good bike 100CC preferable? (I don't want him to drive 125CC)

I am comparing these two. Please let me know which one is good & fuel efficient. If there is any better option that these, please mention.

Honda Pridor CD 100 Euro ll
    Yamaha YD-100 Junoon

    Thanks

Have no offense with Yamaha YD-100 Junoon or it users

It basically depends upon his usage .Chalata kaise hai aur us ki nature kia hai.
Honda Pridor CD 100 Euro ll is a good one if he is a decent rider means chotay gears per na khenchna, smooth aur speed mein chalana, and most important better fuel mileage
Yamaha YD-100 Junoon carrys the style of Yamaha means ,ragara lago ya na lago kharak to jana hi hai is liya agar ap ko chuk ke rakhnay ki adat hai aur parts bhi sastay chaiya hein and you don't bother much about your ride to mzaay dar cheez hai , but it can be bad in terms of millage.

    So simple

Yamaha YD-100 Junoon like a desi BULB required no care no tension but compromise on performance and may result in low resale
Honda Pridor CD 100 Euro ll like a Philips energy saver slight care offers you perfect ride and resale value as well

Waisay 70 mien kia problem hai 90-100 ka meter to dono bikes mar laitey hein

Pridor is more fuel efficient and comes with HONDA reliability. Many users have reported 60+ mileage/litre when riding in economy zone.

Junoon is no more YAMAHA junoon, you'll get DYL Junoon which most probably will be more prone to quality control issues. I have been getting 45-50Km/L on my Junoon but i usually ride hard, if you ride calm, it can give upto 55Km/L mileage.

100cc catagory is good for student use as mileage is almost identical to 70cc bike, but 100cc offer much better comfort, grip, stability at high speed and are also suitable for long journey if required. Just one thing, don't expect much better acceleration than 70cc from these bikes. If need acceleration, gotta have to go above 100cc which will cost fuel mileage.

Hmm. Thanks for your response dudes.

    So, Honda is ok?

I don't want him 70CC because he is 85KG & his friend (who goes to college with him is also 85kg). So, it will be a brutal thing for 70CC

Any recommendation other than Honda Pridor CD 100 Euro ll.

    More comments are highly appreciated.

    Thank you

hahaha, wo tu hy bhai, wo 125CC kehta hy lakin 100CC main fuel consumption kafi hy.

    I gave him 2 options.

    1. Get 125CC as gift & refuel it from your pocket money
    2. Get 100CC as gift with fuel.

He said he will tell in a day or two.

He replied, I have decided to go with 100CC under your extreme pressure with this restriction (refuel it from your pocket money)

    hahahaha.

    oh, ok
but really with that much weight on 100CC, he won't be able to keep up with even 70CC in acceleration, this might dishearten him when he finds out. so decide after keeping everything under consideration.
My younger brother has Junoon, but with his 50Kg weight, it's a whole different story

Honda CD100 Pridor may be first choice with largest support and parts network

If you want to change taste, then Suzuki Raider and Sprinter may be considered, sprinter is awesome bike but parts are expansive and mechanic don't understand this bike.

For Junoon, it is stylish but you are getting a Chinese bike in Japanese price and obviously one can't expect quality like Yamaha from DYL.

Chinese 100CC are also good, like Unique, Super Power etc.

In the city of Lahore, he cannot ride at 100km/h

I decided to go with 100CC after checking many things.

Thanks mfdarvesh Another vote of Honda.

    Am I right?
    Honda CD100 Pridor milage = 60km/liter
    Honda CG125 milage = 35km/liter

Exactly, that's why i said "Acceleration", coz it will matter a lot in hectic traffic. Top speed is not concern.

I decided to go with 100CC after checking many things.

I think CG mileage should be somewhere between 40-45Km/L. where did you read that mileage???

well cd100 gives that avg in ideal scenarios... not to mention its acceleration is also less than junoon... now in a scenario where a load of 170kg comes in, both acceleration and petrol average will go down to drain due to under performance.. for that weight u hv to go either for junoon or higher cc like suzuki sprinter which is a powerful bike with excellent avg....

May it be Yamaha or Honda, in 100cc category both bikes barely produce 1-2 horsepower more than a 70cc bike.

Hence they barely manage pillion riding specially if both riders are heavy...!

I own a Yamaha junoon 2010, its quality control has come down over the years so its not a safe bet... more over theres no Yamaha badge on it anymore, so the trust isn't there... its simply dyl now, although the company claims that the bike is still 100% the same.

Hence amongst brands, honda is no doubt the best! And amongst models.. well 125 makes better power for pillion riding as compared to a 100cc.

Pridor vs cg125 it is now...

    About milage:

    Pridor: 50+ kmpl
    Junoon: 45-50 kmpl
    125: 35-40kmpl

These are real milages... with rough city traffic.

    Power wise:
    top to bottom
    125
    Junoon
    Pridor

Negligible power difference between junoon and pridor

    exactly
that's just too mcuh weight, i wouldn't expect any wonders from Junoon/Sprinter either. This scenario requires 125CC at least.

I would never get CG125 for my younger brother, if he need power then i will be looking at Deluxe/Piaggio. Safety matters.

Agree about Pridor and Junoon. but for 125 it seems kind of less. As i managed to get 42Km/L on GS150, and that was also used inside the city, on the hills, a bit of broken roads etc... no ideal condition. 5th gear was rarely used.
