Usually theres a small lever attached to the carburettor. If its a 70, then its a thin long metal lever. If its a 125 it has a small plastic lever. If its a Yamaha it has a choke lever attached to its handle.. below the horn button.

SP 125 ... well, look at the Left Side of Engine/Carburetter. You'll see a Small Lever.

There are TWO points in this tiny lever.
    1. half choke
    2. full choke
(i hope i am not mistaken about the details)

DOWN all the way ... is OFF.

Flip it UP 1 Point ... Half Choke
Flip it UP 2 Points (all the way) ... FULL Choke
Riders on the storm ... literally.

    ok.
How long i have to keep the bike in choke in cold weather.
Should i just start the bike in full choke and immediate turn the choke off or keep it in choke for short while then turn it off.

1 - 2 seconds of choke is enough. The purpose of Choke is simply put, to PUSH Fuel to help in cold start. Thats all.

Flip the choke up, kick/self start, and when the bike does start, flip it back down.

    ------

There is another way to start bike in Cold Weather, and i think its a better way.

    - Keep the Ignition Switch OFF.
    - Kick 4 - 5 times (with swtich off)
    - Turn Ignition Switch ON
    - Kick start

It helps regulate the Mobile Oil inside the engine so the bike starts easily.

Lift the choke up and then start the bike when you feel the change in sound like it will be stop then close the choke and give race to your bike.
