Default Why less engine oil came out during change?

AOA I have had my honda cd 70 2011 model tuning done after 2000 km and engine oil change afer 1000 km. When i changed my engine oil the oil that came out during the engine oil changing was very low , it should be 0.6 liter but it was 0.5 liter approximately. What would be the reason. Thanks Ashah

Apparently, there are only two reasons behind this scene.
    1. Engine Oil seeping through the joins or seals
    2. Engine Oil being burnt on the piston i.e. dhuwan maarna

But, I have noticed a strange phenomena with my cousin's 2010 Honda CD70. Bike's in very good shape i.e. performance. Engine Oil neither seeps nor is burnt. I wonder even then how can its quantity be as low as 300ml out of 700ml... :-/

    3 possibilities..

1)Your bike is on Fake oil..The ones which they make by melting shoppers
2)leakage via oil drain nut..The washel maybe the culprit
3)Observe the engine head closely and look for any leakages and if you find any get respective jain changed asap,,

The flash point i.e the evaporating point of lubricants is so high that at normal running temperature cannot exceed 150-160C for bike and flash point is like over 230C normally.I think your bike maybe on fake oil,,thats a high probability

Bro, I don't think Oil is fake as the same oil when used in other bike i.e. Kawasaki Sports never shows any abnormality.
Also, there are no leakages via cylinder, joins or drain nut. It doesn't even smoke. What else can it be ... :@

This is the similar thread you started: https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/bik...e-oil-came-out , and now you have another thread with the same issue. Its better to stay within the same thread with the same issue as it will keep the information compiled and future readers can benefit from it.

This is the reply I gave you on the other thread on 25-03-2013, 02:21 PM-2013:, 02:21 PM

Firstly the oil shud be 0.7 litres for a 70cc motorcycle. If you notice a oil reduction between oil changes then it cud be either of two things. You are either burning oil or leaking oil. If you cant find oil stains where you park your bike then Sir you are burning oil.

Burning oil can be a as seriously problem as a worn out piston ring to be as small as lean air fuel mixture. Waisay before you start to blame the bike, why dont you check the authenticity and grade of the oil which you are using. Dont buy anything fancy.......just buy regular locally packed 20W-50 motor oil. I use Shell because because I can check its autheticity by confirming it with the scratch code provided.

For a change...... try a differrent mechanic......maybe your bike is running on lean air fuel mixture which can also cause oil to evaporate. There can be many reasons why your oil is evaporating, I told you the one I think are the usual culprits in Pakistan. Lets c what others have to say?

Sir, it ain't me who started the thread, in fact, I never started any !!!

The reason I asked is, I wanted to know the right answer. And I put it again, neither I am burning nor leaking oil. And the oil I use is PSO's Blaze 4T, which if used in Kawasaki Sports never shows any abnormality nor reduction in quantity, but in 2010 Honda CD70, it drains reduced ... What could it be ...

If the oil isnt leaking or burning as smoke then it could be either of 2 things:
    1. You are running for bike on lean air fuel mixture thus evaporating oil due to high engine temperature.
    2. Fake Oil.
