Question new 70 c bike running problem..help needed

    Dear Members:
I bought new eagle 70 cc bike recently. I dont go beyong 45 km/hr as it has completed only 200 kms.
Recently, after 180kms, faced a problem: After running for 2,3 kms after startup, it starts giving jerks like it is short of fuel and reserve is needed. When i turn the knob to reserve it runs alright.

I have minimum 3,4 litres fuel in bike's tank always.
    And
I changed its tank as it was new, and the tank replaced was not cleaned before installing. I think it had some dirt which got stuck in knob area or something. But how does it run smoothly with reserve on then?
    And
I changed its fuel knob too, replaced with the key and lock knob.
    ...
Guys, its my first experience with the new bike and i couldnt buy honda. Please suggest what could be the problem? I plan to get it tuned after 500 kms.
    Thanks.

    btw.. Congratulations on your purchase.
do not go beyond 40 km/h in runining period and avoid double safari.
change oil on 500 kms then on 1000 kms and after that change every 1000kms.

    AND welcome to PAKWHEELS.

    Thanks guys
I take care of my things well...unless there is some inborn fault created unknowingly.
I checked the fuel knob today myself...it was blocked...changed it back with original...now its fine.

What average should i expect after tuning/oil&filter change after 1000kms?

2nd, a friend suggested that after changing oil at 500kms, start increasing bike's speed gradually (within next few days/weeks)..and take it to 80,90 km/h maximum..so that engine might get properly run and be efficient with speed and mileage.

no dont speed up the bike to that extent in runing period..just dont keep the bike speed constant for a long time.. but after 800-900 kms take bike to 60-70km/h
for more information read user's manual.
as far as fuel average is concerned it would be 55-60 Km/L
