No bikes can be imported from india. Nothing can be imported from india except consumables. You will have better luck importing ktm series from Malaysia or Indonesia but then the import duties will be higher than the cost of 1000cc super sports bikes that are already available..

I read here in this forum(i think so), that yezdi, jawa like motorcycles of 60s and 70s were available in pakistan's frontier region. may be inquire in those area whether they still manage to get indian motorcycles?

If they can be imported for 4 or 5 lakh then it is very cheap. I tried to import a 390cc Duke but they didn't allow me to since it's India. Then tried to import same bike from Thailand. Cost of import was more than 8 lakhs which is why I said u could buy a decent 600cc heavy bike for the same price.

Thanks man. I cannot understand this shiit if a person wants to buy a good bike they wont let him import and put stupid amount of taxes etc. and loosers who are already making bikes in Pakistan are full shiit . No one has a good sense of manufacturing a decent bike. eben yamaha invested and they will come out with shiit i am sure.

We will never get a good bike to ride. end of story

    Default Prohibitive duties on bike

This is because our friends are willing to pay imprortionate duties on bikes. No body protests against it. Any how the only solution that I see at the moment is that we should go and see the manufacturers and persuade them to manufacture at Duke 390's size and quality of a bike in Pakistan. This is the only solution to our problem.

Only solution to this problem is that we persuade the local manufacturers to start manufacturers to start producing Duke 390 here. This is the only solution to bringing the price down.
