Default Look What I found Inside the Engine

What happened on Labor Day 2013?
I had the opportunity to spent sometime on my bike today. Its a Chonda UD-70 model 2008. I bought it new and since then I had not witness any mechanical failure whatsoever. Finally 35,000 KMs later the clutch finally gave up. I got a sticky clutch! which means either the plates are worn or the bush needs replacement. Wrestled with the bolts to open the clutch cover (really need to buy an impact screwdriver), obviously I drained the oil first.........and this is what I found inside.

Laying at the bottom of the engine, right next to the inlet of the oil pump was a "STONE" and not a tiny one........

I'm Amazed, disappointed, relieved, confused and out right flabbergasted simultaneously.

Get it chemically tested. Maybe it is a collection of deposits.

hahahahaha. Yes it must have been done intentionally. Luckily is was not over the jali of the oil pump but was laying right next to it. Agar jali per hota tow it would have obscured the oil flow and then I would forced to rebuild the head. This the first time I have ever seen such thing....and its happeneing with me

As told earlier.....this is'nt the first time I found things inside the engine.......before I found this stone.......I found Bajri (pebbles) in the engine oil when I drained it for an oil change. Im pretty damn sure this is no deposit or residue........its a stone....a foreign substance.

that a$$hol3 also wins when your engine conks and you shell out money for rebuilding it. Best be safe than sorry. Its really easy to make a cap, give a machinist a spare clutch cover and tell him you need a plug made for that location. To check level of oil use your old dipstick or a wire with some other point of reference.

The way I tighten the regular cap with pliers is sufficient to ensure that the vandalizer needs a leveraging tool to open it. He would need pliers. My point of view is......he is going thru a lot of trouble to ruin my engine. He will need tools to open it and have to perform the job in a tightly securely parking lot. If he can go with much trouble im guessing he will smile and feel satisfied when he sees the modification......and im sure allen keys aint that hard to find.......infact they are easier to carry arround than pliers.

your choice, if it were me I would make it really hard to open like use an xzn screw head and make it an expanding lock meaning that you need TWO special tools to remove it. You know more fun on the lathe, then install a camera to watch the moron try to undo it.

I was rather thinking of electrifying the parked bike and watch that on CCTV.

At home my bike is always parked inside a closed garage. and at work I park in a reserved parking space on the 4th floor, we have security guards and CCTV installed there. I'm 100% sure no one could do it at these two locations. He or she must have done it some place else........... point to be noted......she can do it too

Well thats very much possible that someone has done it intentionaly out of jealousy ... When i first bought my bike my bikes oil filler cap got stolen and all the indicators were broken ... Our society day by day is going down in terms of everything..

Vandalism is usually done by spoilt kids..... I think its not fair to jugde the whole society on some brat's act. Dont forget......u and me and also part of the very same society we curse and degrade.
