    GTO 100/110 can be modified with over sized piston of GTO 125 but in case of GTO 125 Itself i dont Think u can do major modifictions. But u can do optimization of ur stock ride for peak performance.
    I had own this Bike for three years & how i do maintain my bike is as below.

    1) Piston/Rings set should be genuine instead of Japanease said in market.
    2) Cylinder also needs to be Genuine doesnt matter what the size is but sleeve shouldnt be rapaired one . (U can also use Indian & Irani Cylinder coz they r also Genuine but if found from relaible person).
    3) Genuine CDI Coils + High performance spark leads along with atleast Denso Spark Plug or u can have Bosh or split fire plugs too if available with same specs.
    4) Use twostroke Engine Oil in side oil bottle/Pump instead of mixing oil in Fuel tank for lubrication. Revtex 2T by Caltex is the best two stroke oil available in Pakistan use that one.
    5) dont try to Use Hi octane fuel just Use Standard Fuel.
    6) Clutch/Presure plates, Carburator, Sproket /Chains shouldbe well maintained & aligned.
    7) Rear tyre profile shoulbe not more than 3.00-18 or 100/80 -18 incase of tube less tyre.

    Dont try to use over sized drive sprokets coz this machine is alredy under touqued so it will die in fifth gear if u use them.

    Just follow these steps & u will feel the diffrence in over all performance i.e. Pick up, speed , & fuel effciency.

    @prince_dk
    Its very dangerous machine having least road grip So dont try to enhance its speed.

    BTW maximum u can do is slightly advance current timing get hi jet in Carburater adjusted for rich mixture remove rubber enclosure of air filter tappet adjustment will also be required but i dont know about exact measurement then use over sized sprokets that can increase speed of ur bike 10~15Km per hour on straight road. These type of enhancements can be easily done by some mechnics who fix bikes for racing. In most of cities mechanics for these types of jobs can be easily found.

    I would beg to differ Imran bhai. maintenance wise a CDI is better but as far as performance goes Points are the way to go. and there are technical facts to back that claim, a point ignition can be modified to increase pick up or top speed whereas a CDI ignition cannot be modified until and unless the plate is modified, which not only is a pain to do but also disturbs/confuses the CDI.

    @Yamaha 135

    If u consider performance just as increase in speed, accelartion & Engine power then true but the main thing is performance is not all about accelaration, & power of speed & power.

    Iused to own 1 and still in love with it

    Bhatti sab give the best maintaining details for all the youngsters who own any kind of biks as bhatti sab said "" the secret to get maximum out of any machine is to keep it stock"

    don't try to juggle a lot and you will loose the power and acceleration.

    If talking specifically Electronic CDI system,
    1. It provides foul less ignition pulse to spark plug.
    2. Very much precise response while advancing spark timing according to engine RPM.
    3. Almost zero maintenance.
    4. Precise spark timing increases efficiency of engine hence its durability & reduces maintenance cost.
    If u r preferring point type Inductive discharge ignition system just bcoz of liberty of advancing & retarding it any time then u r just thinking it for modification purpose to gain short term power while reducing overall performance & durability of engine.

    @Imran
    You say performance wise CDI is better.Then how come a Honda CG 125 point is wayyyyyyy faster than the CDI Models.My bro had a 125 89 model and believe me it was the fastest 125 i have ever ridden no cdi came close to it.It only stayed behind in pick but then as it got hotter it would easily cross those CDI Models even 99 power plus.
    To personally satisfy my own adrenalin needs, I've been racing Bikes a little bit, which has been fun.
