    Default Different oil level at both sides of guage

    AOA,
    today checked the oil guage of my pridor,the guage is showing full oil level at one side and very low on other side of guage,tried this at different surfaces but this remains the same,while before it shows the correct level at same surface,there is also no science of guage angle as it is of plastic,experts what is this?or if i draine the oil for checking purpose as it is reduced or not,then can i again refill the same oil again as the oil is only 62km driven???

    If the high oil level is observed on the lower side of stick then i means oil level is low. U can drain the oil on clean pan & re use it but the problem is, in taht case u will defiantely have less engine oil out from engine & some of the oil will remains within the engine.

    How much oil u have put in during last oil change ? might be the oil didnt got filled to the top level at the time of oil change.

    @imranbhatti,filled a full bottle of shell ax3 which is 0.7l and 50ml of zic fullysynthetic as the oil guage was showing a little less then the full mark after pouring 0.7l,after the oil change bike is only driven 62km,checked the sparkplug and there is also no oil deposit on it and there is no smoke from exhaust,and the bike is also new 1700km driven,so i dont think so the engine is burning oil.

    @Anyone

    Dear avoid using Zic and avoid mixing oils, if the oil capacity of ur bike is 700ml.. then only use one 700ml bottle.
    The correct procedure to measure oil level is, find a level surface, start the engine for 3-4mins, reving it slowly, let the oil pump circulae oil in the engine. Now shut the bike off, wait for 2-3 mins after the oil settles back in the pan, measure it.

    measuring oil level in a very hot or a very cold bike will always give u slightly wrong oil level.
