    Dear Brothers, sorry for posting this thread here. I am looking for a Controlled Rectifier for 12 volt with 6 wires for bike. It can be of any heavy bike as long as its working. If any one can tell me where to search for it? I am living in islamabad and i can visit isb/rwp shops if you can tell me the name and location.
    Your kind support will be appreciated.

    @affanashrafali

    Wat do u mean by controlled Rectifier? why u need six wires?
    The 3 Phase Automatic Rectifier (With automatic volatge contorl) which usually comes with Motor Bikes have 5 Wires 3 for In put Phases 1 for Neautral 1 for Regulated output & that can be aquired from Junk Market. New one would also be available which comes with 4Stroke Rikshaws(3 Wheelers) They would be cheap & low in quality. Genuine Rectiier of Suzuki GS 150 is alaso tha same thing but have realtively low Power.
    If you can provide further deatils about specific requiremnts then one may be in better position to answer you.

    @asjdsm - Bro thats why i excused, for posting it here. @imranbhatti - let me tell you the situation. The rectifier which i have is from the same 3 wheelers ( which you mentioned) but problem with it is that it is not controlled. Means it over charges. Over charging creates question marks for battery's life. The battery which my bike has is swelled up because of over charging ( the reason why this rectifier was installed in my bike was that it has HID and the electrician who installed it mentioned that because of HID you gonna need some over charging).
    Now my current electrician, is saying that your battery will be busted if you keep on using it. He recommended to use any rectifier from heavy bike which 5 or 6 cable ( according to him 5 cable rectifier is automatic one). Since i dont know much about this part, so i have to rely on the electricians knowledge.
    Now please suggest from where can i get it?

    U may go with brand new (genuine) from Suzuki GS 150. Other wise next option is from Junk market (i m not sure where exactly in Rawalpindid or ISB u can have such Shops may be at Sultan ka Khoo). Since u cant check that on spot so there is plenty of chances that u may get fualty unit so better to ask ur electrican to arrange for u with performance garantee.
