Yar kyn thread ko khamkha derail ker raha hoo. Its a thread for YD-125 and the first one here. Let us all wait for @enthusiasticlearner experience.
By the way even if bike is chinese, they still have managed to make one hell of a product, just look at the paint job for example. Lets not forget that DYL may not be Yahama anymore but itna saalon sa Yahama ko DYL he produce ker raha tha don't you think they have developed some expertise of their own?

Besides, one thing that I have very strongly learned here on PakWheels is that there is no discipline maintained in the threads and whoever wants can spread disinformation which is not very good sign for a healthy conversation on this forum. People come here for information but rather get misguided by brand ambassadors. If this continues then I won't be spending any further time on PakWheels anymore.
This is what i am trying to say, we should wait and hear from the people who have the first hand experience like you. When Suzuki GD-110 was launched, people were very quick to declare it a failure, yet now we have 5 GD owners here and that too in a few weeks time. Haters are going to hate, you just enjoy your ride and keep us posted.

Excuse me for saying so, but the gloss and contours visible on the speedometer's transparent plactic sheet are indicators of inferior quality raw material used in its manufacturing.

I am not disgracing the product itself; I am just saying that while some parts may well be imported, rest of the parts are still local-made and they can be instantly recognized by just looking at them.

Bro, you are spot on. If we visit international forums, do not go farther just visit Indian 'professional' forums. You will not find them fighting with each other. They are focused on the topic and understand each other. Rather than bashing each other or claiming themselves to be the best in the world, they show politeness, maturity, sensibleness.

The respect user opinions and reviews. They research and only then they counter reply or against any answer.

We people mostly do not research or gain first hand experience and try to act like a scholar. This is very unfortunate. This is one of the major reason due to which we have so many differences in any other aspect of our lives.

Bro firstly.... It's not a Honda, not even a Yamaha.... It's a DYL motorbike! Be gentle and kind with her! Trust me... I also own a DYL made Yamaha junoon, these machines aren't that rugged....

    Secondly, bikes meters are mostly all faulty... A 70cc won't go beyond 80 in real life... A 100cc barely manages 87, 88 km/hr on GPS.... A 125 wouldn't go beyond 95 mark....
If it's showing On the speedometer that doesn't mean it has really reached it...

Anyways... As visible 9.5 is the red line rpm of ur bike.... By all means it is good 4 ur bike that it doesn't go beyond that limit or Ud just damage ur engine, nothing else...
Ur bike might have a built-in rev- limiting feature to stop it entering the harmful rev range... Don't mess up with it.
    Hope it helps and congrats!

    Hahaha. That's the spirit!

It's great to see companies coming up with newer products which is beginning to melt the iceberg of Honda's monopoly in the market. Now Honda can either give up their old technology and introduce latest technology in market, or become history.

Going back around 10 years when there were not many cellular operators in Pakistan - the only ones being Mobilink and PakTel (now Zong), call rates were sky-high and even the technology they were using was AMPS (Advanced Mobile Phone System) which was launched in the late 70s in the USA. However, with the help of open policy of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority and issuance of GSM licenses, foreign investment came in and thus began the era of Telecommunication services that we have today. Can you imagine a local SMS costing Rs. 5, and caller and the called, both, paying for a call?

So I am hoping this move by DYL and Suzuki of introducting newer bikes would ultimately improve the quality of all bike-manufacturers' offerings in the country. Hence, we will be reaping its benefits.
    First deserve, then desire.

A knew a person who is in the marketing team of DYL. He told me the YD125 is locally manufactured and assembled.....only a few parts of the engine are imported and the rest of the bike is all home grown. He even said that on one of the threads here on YD125 here of PW. He ran away from PW after YD125 was thrashed and ridiculed on PW (I was one of them).

Anyways....its your decision....your money.......your bike! If you like it..... be happy! You do not need other's approval. If you cant handle criticism you shud not be on a public forum

Its absolutely BS that other international public forums have a better code of conduct.......its not.

Think of it this way.......no one knows who I'am and where to find me........therefore I will express myself more freely than in a face to face scenario. Forums can help you have a better self awareness.

Dont go anywhere......loog to kehaingay........logoon ka kaam hai kehna!
