Hahaha. That's the spirit!
It's great to see companies coming up with newer products which is beginning to melt the iceberg of Honda's monopoly in the market. Now Honda can either give up their old technology and introduce latest technology in market, or become history.
Going back around 10 years when there were not many cellular operators in Pakistan - the only ones being Mobilink and PakTel (now Zong), call rates were sky-high and even the technology they were using was AMPS (Advanced Mobile Phone System) which was launched in the late 70s in the USA. However, with the help of open policy of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority and issuance of GSM licenses, foreign investment came in and thus began the era of Telecommunication services that we have today. Can you imagine a local SMS costing Rs. 5, and caller and the called, both, paying for a call?
So I am hoping this move by DYL and Suzuki of introducting newer bikes would ultimately improve the quality of all bike-manufacturers' offerings in the country. Hence, we will be reaping its benefits.
