Default Another GD 110: My Red Queen

    Salam Guyz!

So, after a long search, finally I had purchased GD 110 on Saturday. I?ve sacrificed my power / speed passion over ride comfort.

I named my ride ?Red Queen? because it?s in RED color. My aim to make this thread is to discuss the problem with you, whenever I will face from my RQ.

Another GD 110 My Red Queen -1225807

I think original pictures are not necessary; there are already so much GD?s on PW. My ride is not different from other but YEAH has distinction from its name.

I will request to all GD rider members to discuss their experience and any problem they faced due to manufacturing quality or any other issue related to their ride.

I have expereinced a similar thing. If your bike starts on first kick, good enough; else it takes 2 - 3 attempts to start it. I do not know yet why.

About the kick-lever touching footrest bar, you have to live with it - it's an engineering fail by Suzuki. If it were by purpose, there would have been a rubber "stopper" to arrest the momentum to save the metal and paint.

pehle mere sath bhi aisa tha k GD mjh se 1 kick me start nahi hoti thi.. kabhi kabhi 5 6 kicks lagani parteen kabhi is se bhi zyada.. or ye natural hai k jab 1 kick se start na ho to banda bad ki kicks zor se hi lagata hai
to jitna zor lagate jao ye start hi nahi hoti
jab tuning kerwane gaya to me ne mechanic se kaha k bhai is ka kuch kero 1 kick me start hi nahi hoti.. us ne kaha aap kick maaro... me ne kick lagai to kehne laga k bhai ye chonga nahi hai.. itni force kyun laga rahe ho ye dekho .. phir us ne jb haath se kick mar k start ki to mjhe boht hairat hui k itni si kick pe start hojati hai... phir us ne mjhe try kerne ko kaha or ye boht asani se start hogai.. or ab tak 1 kick me zara si movement pe start hojati hai.. me kisi din video bana k share kerunga inshaALLAH k kitni kick lagata hun...
People with high ego and unnecessary attitude deserves the standing ovation of the tallest finger..

Zabardast yaar! Maen ne bhi notice kia hay is baat ko k bethe bethe haath se bhi kick lagai ja sakti hay. Is ka matlab k paaon se lagate waqt halka sa push karna ho ga or bike start ho jaye gi, or aisa he hota hay. Bas kabhi kabhi pehli kick pe start nahin hoti to bar bar kick maarni parrti hay zara zor se.

Waiting for your video. And do it when the engine is cold.

Hey bro, sure thing, Insha Allah. As you know the rains don't seem like stopping these days, so we need to wait for a beautiful, dry weather for the meet-up. Weather forecast says the rains are expected to stretch till September, allowing us to arrange a get together in late September or early October. Let's see what happens.

@lahore owners of GD: Please suggest regarding the meet-up: when and where to have it.

    Yes, rear shocks are adjustable.
The stock tyre is 2.75-17 4PR. However, the rear bay has an enormous empty space which indicates a larger tyre could fit in well with it. However, I have to discuss it with a tyre mechanic to see if a 3.0 tyre could be fit into it. GD would look cooler if this can be done!

Waqas18 or IADina bro has reported a top-speed of 110 km/h which is quite impressive. However, I recommend to run the bike around 60 - 80 km/h for optimal performance.

putting a bigger/wider rear tyre would be a bad idea in gd110 ... as its fuel economy is already not upto mark , the bigger tire will reduce it even further ... it will also effect the top speed and acceleration ... that enormous empty space is there because suzuki didn't install the fender at all ..which is also causing a big mess even with little mud ... all other bikes in this category comes with proper, full fender ... that's why u won't see any empty space in them ...

yeah right its just the tail which is good looking but no proper rear fender
which covers rear tyre & stops it from spreading all over the bike
i think doubt rear riders legs may also get dirty when GD is running in rain

GD110 has rear 2.75-17 tyre which honestly speaking looks fatter than 2.75-18 pridors rear tyre
GD110 is not providing the best mileage results & its already low in fuel average
so not a good option at all upgrading rear tyre with fatter bigger tyre it will further hit economy badly

Thanks bro TZB, i think GD rim is also 1.6 just like pridor(though pridor is 18 and GD is 17) then i think 3.00x17 and 90/90 17 may be installed in it that will enhance its beauty. Also personally i dont like front stock tyre design in GD. GD is a beautiful bike however fatter rear tyre and a sporty look front tyre will enhance its beauty allot.
and i really like the tail of GD wdout fender... its looking cool this way. baqi mud k liye a wash a week will be good.
I really miss adjustable shocks feature in my Pridor now.
+110 top speed is awesome. Did they also checked it on GPS... then its really awesome top speed. does it only touches 110 or it can maintain this speed for more than 15kilometers. + how is road grip and handling at its top speed. and what about breaks at high speeds .... does it seems that GD requires disk break at that speed. please do share the experience. thanks.
+Amjad bro, i think suzuki hasn't kept the point of fuel economy in GD. For fuel economy i think they have raider and sprinter. As i read somewhere they were comparing GD equal to power of 125 so i think for fuel also they have compared it with CG125 rather than 100cc class.
    regards

You are right, brother. GD does not come with a fuller fender that's why the space looks empty. Same volume of space is available in other 100 cc category bikes, but that is well covered with fenders which is why the space is hidden. GD should have had a proper fender. It's a total fail in Pakistan's environment as the roads get really messy in rainy season like these days. Plus, even if there is no mud, rain water would still ruin the rider's clothes due to splashes all over and around the bike. Bad thing for GD GD's fenders cannot even be replaced with any other fenders due to color matching issue Fitting would not be an issue, a good mechanic would eventually make a good fitting.

Yes, I also think the same that a bigger tyre would complement its looks and make it look more fiercer and muscular like Ravi Piaggio. For fender, it's seems like a good idea to wash the bike every week. But it is not a practical approach for a lazy person like myself Moreover, even if you wash it on a weekly frequency, it would ruin the rider's clothes anyway while riding on wet roads.

While I was at showroom for purchasing GD, the sales person told me the fuel average would be somewhere between 45 - 55 km/L. So no point weaning about fuel average now You are right, GD's engine is compared to CG's engine. So we should expect a matching fuel average too. However, even if GD manages a 50 km/L average, it is still a good value.

Oh no! That is a huge sum for it. Well, the good news is GD's kick is not hard as a 125, so we can go without the self-starter

However, front disk-brake would be a great thing for it. Last night a boy running blindly struck in my GD which I was riding between 30 - 40 km/h. Luckily, the bike didn't lose control and no one was injured. I was riding with a friend who is heavier than me; I really felt GD to be under-powered when it comes to braking.

Wow! That's a nice figure for fuel-average. Masha Allah.
