    Default Motorcycle Engine Oils

Aslam Alikum, Immediately seeing the title you may have said this oh not again again one more thread
for engine oil but guys please bear this one too purpose of creating this thread is to share the range
of motorcycle engine oils available in market and for this i want your valuable co-operation as i would
share engine oils & their pics which obviously will show the specification but i have access to only few oils
which i have used or which are available in my city
i can't access all engine oils so that is why i request all of you if you have used an engine oil or you have pics of
bottle you should share here & share your review about that particular oil
Your sharing matters alot as i alone can't collect all info about engine oils available in market

As i just said in last line of first paragraph your co-operation is important in helping me out
to collect info about engine oils available in market but also i need your help in Engine oils subject As i am not expert in Oils
if we search on net this subject is too deep so want to know your info about these important terms in engine oils
this thread will be useless if it does not have any details info about specification terms
so kindly if you find some good info on net share here

    *API
    *JASO
    *Viscosity
*SAE Viscosity Numbers 10w40,20w40,20w50 or SAE40
    *Single Grade & Multi Grade
    *Mineral & Synthetic/Semi synthetic
Etc notify if there are some other important terms

The Sole purpose of this thread is to collect info about engine oil available in market
    *Specifications/price & *Picture

^Sharing some basic info which i know as par my bike

API in simple word an company which gives certificates of quality to engine oil
so always look for this API label oil but some manufactures recommends JASO
But most motorcycle manufactures in pakistan as the big one
AHl recommends to use engine Oil with API SG,SF,SE or higher grade
you should look your bike manual for the details about your bike

Viscosity of oil is shown in the SAE numbers
most oils nowadays available in market are multigrade
first number which is followed by W (winter) shows the oil viscosity at low temp:
lower this number thinner the oil be at lower temp:
2nd number shows the viscosity of oil at high temp 100c: higher the number thicker the oil
20w40 oil will remain less thick at 100c as compare to 20w50
my bike manual says 20w40 is good all rounder for pakistani conditions
but depending on the temp user can choose which oil suits engine more

Now Lets Start Sharing Some Engine Oil Brand Which I Know Or Remember

    Default Total MCO 4T

API SF, SAE 20W-40, Mineral Based

Ok, so nothing fancy. Just an ancient API grade SF oil. Doesn't even have a JASO MA stamp but then again, old grade oils like API SF/SG don't require it anyway because they don't have additives which may cause clutch slippage.
Though nothing to brag about on its box specificaiton, i am having good experience using this oil in my GS. No clutch problems like Kixx, no vibrations/engine crying like SGO, no loud engine like Zic 4T and doesn't degrade quickly like Havoline
Oil has done 500Km+ and still giving feel as good as new. Looks like i finally have a favourite oil among local brands. Haven't tried Castrol products yet though.

that is very positive review about local oil bro i am using CD100 oil in my pridor
and its working very nice and i am satisfied with performance of bike
there is only one thing which you need to be careful while purchasing local oil
is to be careful fake piece and best you can do is to purchase from authorize dealer
and i have purchased two bottle of CD100 engine oil from AHl exclusive 1s spare part dealer

The results were so amazing that i still cant believe that a good quality oil can make such a huge difference..... Honestly, I was expecting some minor improvements in performance that would go unnoticed by a non technical person such as myself
To begin with, I was a little bored with my post graduation studies, so decided to take a break my doing the oil change myself... I had already purchased 2 bottles of LM when i last went to old town for a discount
Anyways, I poured in the yellow colored oil(looks like sarso ka tayl unlike the maroonish havoline) and got myself, my bike and the garage dirty because of my inexperience when opening the drain bolt
i didnt drop LM as it came with an easy to pour nozzle
To clean all the mess, I gave my bike a long and tiring detailing session
I was so tired in the end that i forgot much about the new oil and went to sleep
Woke up in the evening for work
I drove my bike slowly for a while until i was on main multan road and this is when i realized how ignorant i was for not trying LM earlier
the bike ran 30?40% smoother, gear shifting was effortless and the bike was alot quieter even at higher rpms

I honestly believe LM should be compulsory for all gs150 riders
Great sir!! Nice to see u happy the difference indeed is more than satisfying!

I changed the oil for the first time. Befor that I don't know which oil was used by previous owner of my bike Raider 110.
I also used GTX previously in my Hero 70 but at that time it performed well. I don't know why its perfromance is not good in case of raider 110. Btw I have 2012 model Raider.

i didn't know that 20w50 is also available from Total.
I have seen only 20w40. Anyway, i wouldn't worry about viscosity difference between these two, just go with the one which gives you better riding experience.

I have shared everything i felt when using Kixx.
If you are observing something then share with us.

suzuki itself isn't sure what to recommend.
In manual it says 10W-40, but on the charts pasted in their service centers, there is 20W-50 written.
