    Default Motorcycle Engine Oils

Aslam Alikum, Immediately seeing the title you may have said this oh not again again one more thread
for engine oil but guys please bear this one too purpose of creating this thread is to share the range
of motorcycle engine oils available in market and for this i want your valuable co-operation as i would
share engine oils & their pics which obviously will show the specification but i have access to only few oils
which i have used or which are available in my city
i can't access all engine oils so that is why i request all of you if you have used an engine oil or you have pics of
bottle you should share here & share your review about that particular oil
Your sharing matters alot as i alone can't collect all info about engine oils available in market

As i just said in last line of first paragraph your co-operation is important in helping me out
to collect info about engine oils available in market but also i need your help in Engine oils subject As i am not expert in Oils
if we search on net this subject is too deep so want to know your info about these important terms in engine oils
this thread will be useless if it does not have any details info about specification terms
so kindly if you find some good info on net share here

    *API
    *JASO
    *Viscosity
*SAE Viscosity Numbers 10w40,20w40,20w50 or SAE40
    *Single Grade & Multi Grade
    *Mineral & Synthetic/Semi synthetic
Etc notify if there are some other important terms

The Sole purpose of this thread is to collect info about engine oil available in market
    *Specifications/price & *Picture

^Sharing some basic info which i know as par my bike

API in simple word an company which gives certificates of quality to engine oil
so always look for this API label oil but some manufactures recommends JASO
But most motorcycle manufactures in pakistan as the big one
AHl recommends to use engine Oil with API SG,SF,SE or higher grade
you should look your bike manual for the details about your bike

Viscosity of oil is shown in the SAE numbers
most oils nowadays available in market are multigrade
first number which is followed by W (winter) shows the oil viscosity at low temp:
lower this number thinner the oil be at lower temp:
2nd number shows the viscosity of oil at high temp 100c: higher the number thicker the oil
20w40 oil will remain less thick at 100c as compare to 20w50
my bike manual says 20w40 is good all rounder for pakistani conditions
but depending on the temp user can choose which oil suits engine more

Now Lets Start Sharing Some Engine Oil Brand Which I Know Or Remember

sir as for as my little knowledge is concern, in two stroke any good oil can b used as engine oil role is not as vital in 2 stroke as in 4 stroke bikes.you should pay attention on side oil pump as it should b working properly.btw which bike and model do u have?

Hello guys what is your opinion about Kixx Ultra engine oil
in the main post of this thread i have kept this engine oil in "imported"
category what do you think about this, Is It Really Imported Engine Oil?
and if its imported engine oil than what about Zic 10w40 & 20w40

I was a little concerned, I have read people are using 800 ml or 1L oil in 100cc. I think for 100cc recommended is 700ml and I am not satisfied with AHL 700ml for my Pridor I am using it since long almost going to compete 10k next week and i have not shifted from AHL to some other oil ... which oil should i switch to if others also think AHL Oil is not good for summers?

Just follow the dipstick(no 700-750 or 800ml)..Mine gets filled at 750ml..Use a thicker oil for summers i.e 20w50..If you can spare money on a good oil try liqui moly

Default New Packing Of Atlas Honda Engine Oils

Guys here are the pictures of Atlas Honda new packing bottle for their engine oils
new bottles is quite good and there is dotted surface for giving good grip
when pouring engine oil into it makes holding bottle in hand easier
Oil is of same viscosity grade 20w40 & same API Classifications SF/CD

Well its good to change packing as it create some trouble for copiers
to avoid getting fake engine oils always buy from the trusted big dealer in city
don't buy from local corner shops as you are more vulnerable there to get fake oil

    Prices

    0.7l = 270 but dealer gave in 260 rupees
    1.0l = 380 but dealer gave in 370 rupees

Junoon bro jaise jaise experience barha raha hai oils ka bhi pata chal raha hai
waise local oils me mostly 19,20 ka faraq h hota hai takreeban sab acha perform karte hai
jis engine oil mein aapko apni bike ki performance sab se achi lage us mein continue karna chahiye
baar baar brands change karna bhi thek nahein hai Havoline no doubt zabardast engine oil hai maine apni
deluxe mein mostly yahi use kiya tha aur eski barhi tareef bhi hai par aaj kal eske baare mein kaafi log
kah rahe hai kaafi do number aa gaya hai havoline mein toh yeh purchase hameesha kisi authorize dealer
se h kiya jaaye mein apna recent experience bata raha hon aapko meri pridor 18k km chali huwe hai ab
aur maine most km es mein sirf AHl ka engine oil h use kiya hai par abhi maine winter ke dooran
zic 10w40 ko try kiya mujhe eski performance bilkul bhi acha nahein laga phir doobara AHl ka engine use kiya
aur abhi market Zic 20w40 ko dekha kaafi toh usko try kiya eske saath mera experience abhi tak buhat acha raha hai
bike ke gears soft hogaye hai AHl engine oil ke muqaable gears soft hogaye hai aur bike buhat smooth chal rahe hai
koi huge faraq nahein parha sakta bike mein par gear mein thorha faraq aana soft hona yeh ek achi sign hai
toh mein kah sakta hon zic acha perform kar raha hai as compare to AHl aur abhi khuch din pehle maine apni bike ek din mein
280km chalaaye highway pe bhi bike start of journey se aakhir tak buhat chal rahe thi Ahl engine mein yeh hai ke jab bike garam hota hai toh bike buhat smooth hojaata hai zic mein start karne se bike smooth hai

    LM too expensive 1 Liter = 800/-
But if it covers 2000 Km then think about it.

So anyone there on PW can confirm change period of Liqui Moly ?

I have been changing LM in my Sprinter after 2100 or 2200kms running. At each drain I get inspected the condition of oil and it has still life remaining. The oil filter helps the oil also.

Even I have already uploaded the pics at drain time. You may see - https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/bik...20#post4072897

I have been using it in generator 3KVA for 75+ hours and drain in condition with some life still.

Just to measure the quality of this oil, it does not only run for more than 75+ hours but it has also disappeared the smoke which was coming to slightly weak rings. After two packing there is no smoke now and it really a happy sign.

I am paying 750 which saves me engine overhaul for an extra bonus period (engine overhaul costs around 8K). It can run for 80hours where as a local oil only good for 40 hours.

So LM is paying back you more than your 750. Its just a matter of realizing different aspects instead of considering only the price factor.
