    Default Motorcycle Engine Oils

Aslam Alikum, Immediately seeing the title you may have said this oh not again again one more thread
for engine oil but guys please bear this one too purpose of creating this thread is to share the range
of motorcycle engine oils available in market and for this i want your valuable co-operation as i would
share engine oils & their pics which obviously will show the specification but i have access to only few oils
which i have used or which are available in my city
i can't access all engine oils so that is why i request all of you if you have used an engine oil or you have pics of
bottle you should share here & share your review about that particular oil
Your sharing matters alot as i alone can't collect all info about engine oils available in market

As i just said in last line of first paragraph your co-operation is important in helping me out
to collect info about engine oils available in market but also i need your help in Engine oils subject As i am not expert in Oils
if we search on net this subject is too deep so want to know your info about these important terms in engine oils
this thread will be useless if it does not have any details info about specification terms
so kindly if you find some good info on net share here

    *API
    *JASO
    *Viscosity
*SAE Viscosity Numbers 10w40,20w40,20w50 or SAE40
    *Single Grade & Multi Grade
    *Mineral & Synthetic/Semi synthetic
Etc notify if there are some other important terms

The Sole purpose of this thread is to collect info about engine oil available in market
    *Specifications/price & *Picture

^Sharing some basic info which i know as par my bike

API in simple word an company which gives certificates of quality to engine oil
so always look for this API label oil but some manufactures recommends JASO
But most motorcycle manufactures in pakistan as the big one
AHl recommends to use engine Oil with API SG,SF,SE or higher grade
you should look your bike manual for the details about your bike

Viscosity of oil is shown in the SAE numbers
most oils nowadays available in market are multigrade
first number which is followed by W (winter) shows the oil viscosity at low temp:
lower this number thinner the oil be at lower temp:
2nd number shows the viscosity of oil at high temp 100c: higher the number thicker the oil
20w40 oil will remain less thick at 100c as compare to 20w50
my bike manual says 20w40 is good all rounder for pakistani conditions
but depending on the temp user can choose which oil suits engine more

Now Lets Start Sharing Some Engine Oil Brand Which I Know Or Remember

oh very very sad to know this Gull bhai i strongly advise
drain this oil immediately from your GS your bike more important than few
    hundred rupees

this quite clearly shows there is some thing wrong with engine oil
as you have not touched clutch settings with previous SGO oil bike
was performing normal but with kixx its giving problem
this oil can badly impact on clutch plates performance

he was giving very good response but i said him sir i am waiting for reply from karachi dealer
he said no problem if he does not ships you i will ship you if you want to purchase

yaar pata nahein kiyon ke yeh dealers response toh acha karte hai par baad mein reply nahien
karte i think may be yeh sirf do bottles ke liye kiya ship kare es liye avoid karte hai
han agar barha order ho toh yeh shaayad sir sir karke bhejde

and yeah bro kise pw fellow ko request karna ek option hai
and i have big hope they will responsd par yaar i want to make contact with dealer
if suppose yaar if i fall in love with liqui moly than i will need to purchase this oil frequently
so baar baar kise friend ko request karna aur takleef dena sahe nahi hoga

waise es waqat i am using Atlas honda oil in my bike
and bike working very nice local oils are not complete useless
yes no doubt imported specially this german oil has superior quality
but bike can perform for long time also with local oils too as they have been doing it
its just you don't get betrayed by the fake versions of local oils

So Far My Search For Liqui Moly

Yaar if any other dealer doesn't show interest to ship you, then ask the Lahore dealer whom I purchased from, give him my reference, give reference to him about online forum pakwheels and me. Ask him rate of 700Rs... He is owner, ask him to send his assistant and get u shipped. Settle a payment mode.

Hence try purchasing from a company authorised dealer or company operated petrol pump.

Liqui moly is also an option if u want the ultimate oil, and zipex was also good in my 70

    Yup amjad bro
so much for JASO MA It is a JASO MA certified oil which doesn't play well with the clutch.
While SGO had no where written JASO MA on it but clutch was totally fine with that oil.
I will try to find AX5 now

Kixx gave poor clutch performance in his Junoon.
Well i am experiencing the same in my GS now. I didn't feel any clutch problem while using SGO before.
Today i started the bike and warmed up for 30 seconds and then engaged first gear, it started moving even with the clutch pressed. I was surprised as i used to do same with SGO and never faced this issue.
If you guys remember, when i bought my first GS, i mentioned this problem and blamed it on GS that its clutch doesn't work well with cold engine. But now i think it could be mainly due to because i was using Kixx in that bike too.
Another thing, with SGO bike was giving very light feeling, but with Kixx bike is feeling "Ghutti ghutti". I don't know why
awful, so sorry that happened! yar kahin ye Kixx semi-synth k andar friction modifiers na hon. They're disastrous for wet clutch bikes. What you're experiencing is exactly that

The bottle no doubt is very good looking and gives feel if an expensive oil... But the real story isn't that good!

    @ammarzahid @amjad635

Yes I also think it has the same problem!

It must be having friction modifiers i.e. agents which reduce friction inside the engine to reduce wear and tear of the parts... But one problem is that they can cause a wet clutch to slip and create problems...

The oil basically fails the claim to be Jaso MA(wet clutch safe) and created clutch issue... Now blame our bikes to be having pathetic clutch plates? Or blame the oil God knows which one is real culprit however we know one thing for sure that our bikes don't like kixx... Hence should be avoided.

I as mentioned earlier experienced poor clutch feel, poor performance of bike and more engine knocking...
The initial impression was good but soon I realised it isn't that good... It's potentially harmful for my clutch hence I drained it a little earlier and never used it again.
