    Default Motorcycle Engine Oils

Aslam Alikum, Immediately seeing the title you may have said this oh not again again one more thread
for engine oil but guys please bear this one too purpose of creating this thread is to share the range
of motorcycle engine oils available in market and for this i want your valuable co-operation as i would
share engine oils & their pics which obviously will show the specification but i have access to only few oils
which i have used or which are available in my city
i can't access all engine oils so that is why i request all of you if you have used an engine oil or you have pics of
bottle you should share here & share your review about that particular oil
Your sharing matters alot as i alone can't collect all info about engine oils available in market

As i just said in last line of first paragraph your co-operation is important in helping me out
to collect info about engine oils available in market but also i need your help in Engine oils subject As i am not expert in Oils
if we search on net this subject is too deep so want to know your info about these important terms in engine oils
this thread will be useless if it does not have any details info about specification terms
so kindly if you find some good info on net share here

    *API
    *JASO
    *Viscosity
*SAE Viscosity Numbers 10w40,20w40,20w50 or SAE40
    *Single Grade & Multi Grade
    *Mineral & Synthetic/Semi synthetic
Etc notify if there are some other important terms

The Sole purpose of this thread is to collect info about engine oil available in market
    *Specifications/price & *Picture

^Sharing some basic info which i know as par my bike

API in simple word an company which gives certificates of quality to engine oil
so always look for this API label oil but some manufactures recommends JASO
But most motorcycle manufactures in pakistan as the big one
AHl recommends to use engine Oil with API SG,SF,SE or higher grade
you should look your bike manual for the details about your bike

Viscosity of oil is shown in the SAE numbers
most oils nowadays available in market are multigrade
first number which is followed by W (winter) shows the oil viscosity at low temp:
lower this number thinner the oil be at lower temp:
2nd number shows the viscosity of oil at high temp 100c: higher the number thicker the oil
20w40 oil will remain less thick at 100c as compare to 20w50
my bike manual says 20w40 is good all rounder for pakistani conditions
but depending on the temp user can choose which oil suits engine more

Now Lets Start Sharing Some Engine Oil Brand Which I Know Or Remember

For honda bikes i have used liquimoly, havoline, shell and recently honda genuine oil. I have to say honda original oil is better than any if you change at 1000kms. Every other oil just didnt seemed to satisfy now and then.

After experimenting on a lot of oils AHL,Caltex,Kixx,Shell AX5 i finally settled down on Liqui Moly

Reason:::Made in Germany/packed in Germany//Imported from Germany;;the most trusted oil company in europe with more than 50% market share.

One of the best qualities of this oil is that it never looses vicosity even after usage of 1700Kms,,The drain interval is dependent on the make/model,,FOr CD-100/Pridor 2000Kms( i drain it at 1500 kms)

Gear shifts are smooth,,reduced engine noise,,and in its price range good value for money

Dear Brother, can we use this oil for Honda CG-125 Deluxe 2007 ?

Bro i am using kixx 20w50 4T semi synthetic in my deluxe 2012. And its the best for deluxe .last week i tried zic 10w40 m7 but it doesn't suit bike and @ 60+ kmph engine's sound becomes so loud which irritates you and youwill feel little vibrations too...so i just change it with kixx again and bike becomes normal again...you can easily use it upto 1000-1200 kms....

I was feeling loud sounds from engine and mechanic advised to use 20W-50. I have used mostly Zic 20W-40 till now.
So i tried Kixx and it does help with sounds and vibrations too.
Next i am thinking to give Castrol GTX a go.
Castrol activ 4T is hardly ever available.

Zic 20w40 is very good quality engine oil but in hot summer its better you change oil
max: 1500km and yeah with zic ride is really smooth higher top speed with zic is
because of its quality and it is thinner oil as compare to lm so thus engine is running
freely smooth generating more power just buy original and enjoy i personally also
    have been using this

Gull bhai this change is after long time

Gull bhai i have not tried castrol gtx in motorcycle as i have been using
zic 20w40 for long time but i gave it a try in my generator in gen i also
was using zic oil 15w40 but as it was hot i thought of giving a try to castrol
20w50 believe me it proved horrible oil came out of engine after week of use
was very very dirty full black and it came out less i was shocked with this
since then i don't have any confidence on this castrol oil

i and you also must have heard alot of admiration of kixx here so i will suggest
if in this weather kixx has smoothen your gs engine then you should continue with
it as oil has very good reputation as said to be imported one

bro there was a weird sound when bike speed was around 80Km/h. I discussed with mechanic and he said he will adjust the tappets and also told me to shift to thicker grade oil.
But after doing both, sound still remained and he concluded it is from the front. Some part in the front is loose and vibrates at certain RPM.

Wiasay bhi bike ab purani ho gayi hai. 20K+ Km on the odo. Time to shift to thicker grade???

No offence to any individual or company lekin agar Mobil Oil imported use kerna hai tu phir bike/car bhi imported honi chahiye. Shell and Castrol are best for local cars and bikes respectively. But should be purchased from a trusted outlet.

because of its quality and it is thinner oil as compare to lm so thus engine is running
freely smooth generating more power just buy original and enjoy i personally also
    have been using this

Thanks and yes I m chaning it between 1500-1700km intervals and about genuine oli I always order from zic website so no worries about fake oli
Through I really love this oli after using LM
