jitna negative sochenge cheezein utni hi negative dikhai dengi.. be positive..

I think abhi tak koi bhi PW member jo GD use ker rahe hain kisi ne bhi GD ki quality pe koi issue uthaya hai.. we just discussed about lackings.. for example side cover locks, front fender mud guard, rear mud guard.. and someone is tensed about fuel average.. baqi quality wise GD is super fine..

    Good luck.
Thanks bro for reply. as you are from Lahore too, you know Govt is making new roads and repairing old ones, my GD mostly skids on new roads or roads that are repaired. Aur tab bhi skid hoti hai jab kachi sarak se Road pe thora speedily charun. Do teen bar slip honay ke bad now I have started driving GD with fear Iss liye maza nahi aa raha. I had Metro 70 and Honda CD-70 before GD, they did not have this problem. I used to drive them with confidence but GD pe confidence nahi raha :/

When my GD skids, I increase throttle, I read on Ravi Pioggio's website that you should apply both brakes simultaneously to avoid skidding, But when I do so, my GD skids that is why I am using rear brake only.

Bro, adjust your rear shock absorbers to setting # 3. They come at setting # 2 from factory.

It would solve your "neeche lagti hay" wali problem, Insha Allah.

    Ultra-awesome share, IADina bro! Thanks

The "OHC" feature of its engine can be seen on Page 6 (20 of 70) which shows no Push-rods or lifters present in the engine-head. The intake and exhaust values are actuated through rocker arms directly by camshaft. Also showing on the same page is auto-decompression mechanism which assists in easy kick-start by keeping exhaust valve slight opened when engine is not running.

Lightbulb Mystery of Bad Fuel Average of Suzuki GD 110 - Revealed!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but as heart-trenching as it may sound to us GD owners and fans, the poor fuel economy of Suzuki GD 110 has left Suzuki guys clueless too. I went to Empress Suzuki today along with the print of picture in this link (fuel consumption record of my Suzuki GD 110). The guy at Suzuki patiently listened to my plea of getting a poor fuel economy according to my calculations, yet Suzuki guys proved a handsome fuel average of 52 km/L weeks earlier.

He honestly accepted that my calculations are indeed right and this method used by Suzuki to calculate fuel average by using a 100 or 200 mL of fuel does not give an accurate value of fuel consumption. He explained, it is so because they do the test on a straight stretch of road at roughly a constant speed and little to no stops at signals. However, in real life we burn fuel in cold starts to warm-up the engine, we stop at signals, we get stuck in traffic, etc. So the 52 km/L was the "ideal" value of fuel average which is impractical in our routine riding scnerio. Also, he said, vertical-head engines (GD 110, CG 125) are notorious for their fuel consumption compared to horizontal-head engines (Spritner, Raider, Pridor, CD 70); however, they give better acceleration (and pick) compared to horizontal-head engines. And yes, GD 110 indeed has a superb pick!

They have raised this issue in their meetings as well, asking company to tell them a fuel-average "slogan" for GD 110 like they have a "73 km/L" for their local line of 110-cc products. I do not know whether it has actually happened or not, but he said they are in contact with Suzuki, Japan to come up with a solution to its low fuel-economy issue. Maybe, only maybe, there would finally be a modification in GD to give a better fuel average.

For now, a 40+ km/L is all you can expect from Suzuki GD 110.

    All,

I have an observation to share with you regarding Suzuki GD 110: this bike is not meant to be a work-horse. It suits best for the pure purpose of having a joyful ride. I think it is not for those people who usually haul heavy loads on their bikes (local milkmen, sales person who make supplies on bikes, or general users usually carrying other loads besides themselves). The problem is, its ground clearance is not suitable for it to be a work-horse. One has to be dead-slow while passing over bumps to avoid its lower part come in contact with ground. I have experienced this quite a few times when carrying a "heavy" pillion rider - the bike's chassis bumps into road from below. I have adjusted my rear shock absorbers to point 3 from point 2, but still the bike is notorious for clearing uneven roads without kissing the road.

I hope it would help prospective GD buyers consider their requirements fully before going for it.

    Happy riding
