agar brake shoe ab mehange ho gae hain to lanat hai suzuki walon per jo day by day prices increase kar rahy hain , jab k doller k rates kum huy hain, aur quility b thaker hai, agar imported brake shoe 10000 km b theek tarah se nahi chalty to locel 100 time batter, 1600 k brake shoe kum se kum 20000 tak to chalny chaheay, mera khayal hai pridor k brake shoe 3 ya 400 tak hon gy aur result aap k samany hai

Apparently, GD110 both drums are identical to CD-70, may be with the extra width of inner glass. And secondly, I have been using YM brake shoes (you just need to find out the genuine stuff). And YM is an independent brand and not selling under any tag like Suzuki or Honda.

70, Sprinter, GS I think.. YM is compatible with all these.

So I am not sure why Waqas bhai is going for that extra expensive 1600 Rs brake shoes.

Excellent point, brother. I will bring this up with them comparing the power of Sprinter and GD.

Also, the event of carburetor service of Waqas18's GD is alarming. His GD's carburetor's jets needed adjustment. Now this similar thing happened in KIA Spectra back in 2004/5 when it was launched and customers complained for its extravagant fuel consumption. Korean engineers themselves came to Pakistan and adjusted EFI settings of all Spectra units.

So maybe, just MAYBE, GD's carburetors do need some taming to optimize fuel consumption.

    Experts, please advise.

TZB brother how many km's your GD110 is driven?

Though 10k is good period but still how come brake shoes worn out complete at this mileage
specially when its case of GD it is considered the best bike in terms of quality
My pridor is almost touching 20k now still brake shoes are doing job very right
our fellow Racer brother's GD has crossed 23k mileage still his bikes brake shoes
    are working very fine

TZB brother i would recommend you instead of buying local brake shoes
i highly recommend you go to authorize honda spare part dealer and buy
Pridor rear brake shoes they might perfect in your GD and you know about
its durability as i told above
Amjad bro, my GD has clocked almost 7,200 km. And yes, I agree, Honda's brake shoes are excellent. My CD 100's rear brake shoes lasted for almost 20k km. And yes, I will replace my GD's brake shoes with Honda's brake shoes from authorized dealer.

And I would like to mention here that GD's build quality is indeed the best in its class in Pakistan. It includes material used in body, engine, paint quality, and chrome quality. The weaklings of GD, as per my opinion, are tyre/tubes and brake shoes. Otherwise I do not find any other material quality issues in the product.

No, I am not facing any issue with tyres or tubes. But since they are "Made in China", I am suspecting they'd wear off soon. This is the only reason I say it's a weakling, but performance wise it is doing just fine.

Interestingly, my GD's rear tyre's air pressure was decreasing within every 4 - 5 days of getting it re-inflated. So I decided to have it checked. We found out there was a minute puncture indicated with slow forming water bubbles I got that fixed and now the air pressure is fine since then

Default New member of the gd-110 family

Mashallah by the grace of Almighty Allah, I've purchased a GD-110. Will post some clicks soon.

I won't talk about the features and quality as it has been discussed thoroughly in these forums. There are some things I want to know. The bike had done 45 kms and there are two problems I am facing.

1- It takes quite a lot kicks to start the bike when it has been sitting in idle position for about 10 ~ 12.
2- The second gear produces a little jerk. Only the second one.

Is this normal? Did anyone else had this problem when the bike was in breaking period??

And please do share the method you used during the breaking period.

The gear gets stuck while shifting. Only the second one. Up change or down change. I don't think that it is a problem of drum rubber.
