A friend of mine had this when I was in 8th or 9th class in mid 90's. I have some good memories associated with this bike

do any one remember that in early 90's Suzuki launched three beautiful 2 stroke bikes with the Name of " SUZUKI NINJA(100 cc ) Suzuki KATINA OR KATANA (100 cc) and SUZUKI Samurai (80 cc) .. Those bike have very beautiful graphics from fuel tank to till end of side cover. Very different, beautiful and bold graphic at that time..

I also remember the SUZUKI GP100 bike which has RPM meter, disc brake and very fast bike, like GTO and RX.

I have kept this bike (suzuki80) for a decade all in my student life i used it. My dad bought it in early 80s with all the extra stuff came with this bike e.g. front shield and other accessories.. It was retired around four years back and resting in my dad's garage to-date

Original paint on fuel tank intact nicely and all genuine stuff (even mirrors, speedo meter, seat and headlight cover, fenders, tappas) is there in that bike... I went to school, college and University on the same bike.......

Engine was re-haled many times since i started using it however replaced with all stock parts... It was still working condition but my dad is not comfortable driving anymore due to his back problem... But now its standing idle since around four, five years by now.

    regards

If I remember correctly 80cc version was introduced by Suzuki around 1973 after nationalization. It came in strange colors like bright orange, green and blue and never really could compete with Yamaha 80 due to problems associated with manufacturing and marketing of govt sector.

It was a great bike though. A friend rode it to Lawari and Shandur with us in 1981 (probably) and it performed great, better than the newly popular CG125 and my CD175. All of us were very pleasantly surprised.
