A big no for CG man it will damage your backbone
Use deluxe, piaggio or GS and purchase bike some time well before this trip
and you should break in bike properly taking brand new bike on long drive is not wise
as on long drive you are not going to drive it in slow speed 40-50km/h
which is recommended speed for first 1000km of bike

Forget about parts if it is new. Just worry about puncuture kit. Break And Clutch Leavers.

On the other hand I must say travelling on bike, alone has safety issues so I won't recommend it...

Do carry a licensed pistol if u wonna go... Carry money but hide it, take plastic money with you too...

Overall it's not going to be pleasant at all.. 1500kms is meant for proper cruiser bike, not these... Ud be hell tired, with a broken back...!

I recommend using Honda cg125 deluxe as it is comfortable, it has disc brakes for emergency situation and engine parts are shared with cg125 classic so no worries of availability....

Make sure u have rear view mirrors, a good helmet with new/clean visor, fresh engine oil at start, good rubber on tires, well cleaned air filter or new... low pressure air in tires to make it comfortable and tappets should be perfectly done by a specialist... Wrong tappets settings and continuous high speed operation will damage ur engine surely.... Carry a tire puncture repair kit and extra tube with you too...

Recomended is to keep draining ur engine oil after every 750kms and take all the required oil (bought from authorised dealer) along with u since the beginning of the joueney... Bcoz u might not get good quality and original oil in the way... Hence u need total 4 bottles of oil!

    (1500 + 1500) / 750 = 4

Ideal travelling time would be 7am-6pm max! And a big no to travelling at night! Take 15mins break after every 2hrs..

Also wear a reflective and bright upper... It would keep ur shirt clean and would make u more visible!

A weak horn is no horn!!

yes Amjad bhai... it really was... but learnt the lesson and we didn't went on bike National Highway trip at midnight again specially in winter and more specially alone at night. Wild human beings are a matter of concern also... to avoid those daytime travelling is ideal. + Motorway Petrol police wale jo new uniform mein hote hein wo kafi ache hein and raat mein bi tang nahi karte. Ager tang karti he to wo old wali dark blue uniform police walay specially at night on National Highway jo ziada tar bypass par cities k pae jate hein and ager ap galti kar lein bypass ki bajae city k andar se guzarne ki tab. However if you are a government servant (gazetted rank +) phir bachat ho jati he introduction karane and service cards dikhane k baad but student life mein to bari mushkil hoti thi sometimes.

I hope OP is not planning to do this 1500Km in one day coz that would indeed require something like Intruder M800 But still not advisable to do in one day, as more than 12 hours on a bike, you'll be tired and will start to loose alertness/concentration which isn't a good thing on road. So take it nice and slow.
This is a 2 days journey at minimum. My advice, if not in much hurry then do it in 3 days, take proper brakes and enjoy your journey.

Now about oil change, that much oil change seems to be headache.
My advice, if you get a bike with oil filter. Use Liquy Moly 4T and you are set for 2000Km drain interval.

I agree about no travelling at night. But if you plan to do it in 2 days then you'll need to leave early. So you might wanna leave after Fajar. Because if you leave late, you might end up riding after maghrib and trust me you don't wanna do that when tired.

Apart from break-in, another thing is to notice small issues which may come with new bike. It's important to sort them out before you go on long journey to avoid trouble.
