The rubber between swing arm and chain was broken maybe due to loose chain, first thought of a jugar but then got the problem fixed from BJ Suzuki queens road lahore.staff was very cooperative,gentle and humble. zahid bhai was absolutely right about BJ.that rubber was for Rs.57 and i got not only 50% discount on labor but also mkanice did some other things like nuts bolts tightening,oiling cables etc etc, when i told the manager about PBC and Zahid bhai.thanks pakistanbikersclub and Zahid bhai.
yesterday got my bike tunned although it did not need it but for my satisfaction did this.mkanic told me that he will keep tappets a little bit loose, i said ok u know better what to do but after tunning the tik tik sound was annoying and i discussed this with another suzuki mkanic near my home he said dont worry its normal but if u dont want this sound i ve a guage i will adjust it as per standard so again got open tank and seat and adjusted tappets with guage.my bike was totally ok before these two adjusments but i thought that after 2200 kms, i ve rode it 6500 kms more and i should get checked the valves so did this and wasted 200 and then 50 rupees.bike performance is same as before
got my bike tunned on thursday.mkanic asked that can u bear the little sound of tappets?i said ok u are the mkanic u know better what to do.one thing more i wannt tel.my bike did not get tunned since last 6200 kms and 9 months and i decided to get it checked but that was my mistake.bike was already 100% ok.anyway mkanic adjusted the tappets and a little tik tik sound i felt and that was annoying that this type of tappets sound from a new bike?so i went to another mkanic and told him the story.he said bike is ok and little sound is also ok in summer tappets should b loose a little and if u say I will adjust these with guage so I got them adjusted these again and the sound removed but next Friday morning when I checked the bike on full throttle on canal road my bike hardly touched 118km/h with a lot of struggle and the rpm to speed ratio was also decreased(means low speed on high rpm) so again I went to the first mkanic he is a senior makanic in an authorized 3s shop and in evening he runs his private workshop.i told that my younger brother got the tappets adjusted and I think there is something wrong,he checked and said .OMG its too hard so he adjusted them again.(its 3rd time) rpm ratio was also ok.so next morning (today) road was empty and I checked again it again touched 118 and the speedometer needle was also not like before(very quickly crosses 120) now confused again.what to do?m soo much “WEHMI” regarding my bikes.now what to do??????????????????? @gull_s_777 @SyedMoazzam @vickytulla @hidalgo @dr.omair @malikg115 @massterr100 and all other experts specialy regarding GS plzzzzzzzzzz respond
I would recommend. ....
1.Keep tappets at factory specs
2. Stop worrying about top speed. There are sooooo many factors that determine top speed, such as wind, riding postions etc, not just the tuning factor. Even my gs150 does 118 on some days while on other days it refuses to go above 110.......and did you say you touched 118? And you are still not satisfied with tuning? Come on bro
3. As long as the pick is ok, and your fuel average is fine, don't play too often with the tuning. .....dont you just hate every time the mechanics strip your bike naked?
