very expensive for 1 litre oil. i think havoline 20w50 or total 20w40 should be given a chance.

LIQUI MOLY - MUSLIM TOWN MORR, Mr. Afzal Tahir : 0300-4134599

20W-50 is perfectly fine for new engine. As compared to 10W-40, it makes engine more silent and gives smoother overall feel.
SGO loses viscosity sooner but overall it gives better feel to engine than Zic and AX5.
Well if total 20W-40 is working great for you then why not try it in GS also??? SGO is also provided to Suzuki by Total.
As you said that you are touchy about GS, then must try Liqui Moly. Don't worry about it being 20W-50. After trying many thinner grade oils, now i have Havoline 20W-50 in my GS (if it makes you feel any bettter ).
very expensive dear.i cant pay 800 or 700 for 1 litre oil. first you tell me about your experience about Havoline also tell if it has any negative affect on top speed of bike.i think if total is fit for my yama , then it should be good for gs.and in yama my drain interval was 1500 km app.even then it was fine.but that was 2 stroke which comsumes oil from side also for lubrication.4 stroke is a different thing..btw.hands up in front of liqui moly due to price.one thing more.. how do you feel that sgo is loosing its viscosity?

your calculation is ok .but mindset says after1000-1200 km fresh oil shoud be pour if according to your liquiy moly is 100% perfect for 2000 km eventhen i will feel uncomfortable after 1200 km mentaly and will start thinking to change it (BAS WEHM KA KOI ILAJ NAI)

    As you feel happy brother
700 ka 20w-50 ha wo daal Lou? 1500 pey drain kar Dena? Apki bike meto wese bhi oil filter hai and it will collect any harmful metallic shavings in the engine if there r any? Hai b 5 speed bike means k less engine strain!?
+ u have hydraulic tappets which need much less adjustment! All evidence suggest that u can use a quality oil for long intervals!

I recommend u use liqui moly racing 4t and drain it at 1500kms + get it tuned at 1500km mark instead of 1000. German imported oil ha? And baki sab local!

U have really got a proper low maintenance machine there however agar dil nai manta? Tou u can use shell/caltex/pso/total and zippex etc oils of 10w-40 or 20w-50 ratings.... All tried by almost all of us at some point in time with avg results....

However make sure u get original oil rather than a fake oil!

PS: ap ki bike k owners manual pe oil drain interval 2000kms he likha hua ha! However local oils are so pathetic in quality that they can't last that long! That's why in market the word is common to change oil at 1000kms halan k oil sahi hoto company 2000 kay interval ka kehti ha!

My Junoon has also an oil interval of 2000kms not 1000.

First two free tunnings by the company are compulsory otherwise your warranty would be finished. Hence go for it.
You seem to believe in a lot of speculations, stop listening to people how can tuning be not good for bike if it is done properly?

Get ur second free tuning and after that u must get ur bike tuned btw 1500-2000Kms maximum otherwise ur valves can be damaged. replace oil filter, fuel filter at 5000Kms mark max. keep cleaning them whenever u get ur bike tuned throughout this 5000Kms span... and clean air filter at every 1000-1500Kms max. The cleaner, the better.

I am using following engine oil in my honda deluxe 125 (change after 2000 to 3000 km) purchase 4-litre bottle 20-50
easily available at filter house all outlets in Lahore

    Description:
Kixx PAO is a synthetic engine oil based on the Tri-Synthetic formula including PAO (polyalphaolefin). Satisfying the American Petroleum Institute (API) performance standards and European standards, Kixx PAO is suitable for all vehicle types that run on gasoline, diesel (including RVs) and LPG. Comprised of Kixx PAO 1 0W-30, 0W-40, Kixx PAO 5W-30, and Kixx PAO 5W-40, the Kixx PAO lineup boasts superior oxidation stability, delivers a smooth and comfortable ride, and provides complete engine protection.

Formulated with 100% PAO synthetic base stocks, Kixx PAO 1 0W-30 is the official engine oil of Kixx PAO Racing Team sponsored by GS Caltex. That is, its superiority is verified through use in racing machines. PAO is the abbreviation of polyalphaolefin. It is a high-grade synthetic base oil mainly used in aircraft engine oils. The chemical molecular structure is artificially synthesized to enable superior performance compared to regular mineral base oil in terms of low temperature fluidity, oxidation stability and thermal stability, all of which are important items in engine oil performance tests.

    Applications

    - All vehicles with gasoline, automotive diesel or LPG engines produced in Korea
    - Luxury imported cars such as Benz, BMW and Lexus
    - High-performance, gasoline-powered cars with DOHC, EFI and VVT
    - Motorcycles with four-stroke engines powered by gasoline
    - Vehicles fitted with exhaust gas reduction (DPF, CPF)
    - Vehicles fitted with a turbocharger/intercooler
    - High-performance, high-horsepower sports cars
    - Sports driving vehicles
    - Vehicles to prolong the lubricant change interval
    - Small sedans, RVs and SUVs
    - Kixx PAO 1 0W-30: API SM, ACEA C2-08, ACEA A1/B1, A5/B5-08
    - Kixx PAO 1 0W-40: API SN/CF, ACEA A1/B1, A5/B5, C3, BMW Longlife, VW 502/505
    - Kixx PAO 5W-30, 5W-40: API SM/CF, ACEA A3/B3-08, A3/B4-08, C3-04, Benz MB 229.51, Volkswagen VW 502/505, BMW Longlife-01, 04, Porsche

    Performance

    - Significantly reduces particulate buildup due to superior oxidation stability to keep the engine oil cleaner for a longer time
    - Kinematic viscosity at 100℃ is higher versus competing products in its class, so sufficient oil film is formed during initial operation to reduce engine wear; maintains the lubricating film at appropriate levels even in high temperatures during driving for a smooth and stable ride
    - Very little viscosity reduction caused by prolonged use thanks to outstanding shear stability, meaning minimum friction to ensure superior lubricity
    - Superior performance when starting a vehicle in extreme cold with temperatures below minus -50℃; viscosity is maintained in high temperatures so that appropriate lubricating film is formed inside the engine
    - Improvement in fuel economy and noise reduction

    Overview of Kixx PAO

"Kixx is the engine oil brand name from GS Caltex. Kixx is derived from the English word 'kick' and embodies the meanings of fast, strong and dynamic. Kixx PAO is GS Caltex's top-tier product representing the company's advanced engine oil technology. Kixx PAO is recognized in Korea and around the world for its superior quality levels."
