Default New Bike: Registration hogayee, but Book nahi mili ?

After a month of buying my new motorcycle on Cash. Dealer provided me a paper which shows that the bike is registered. Its from

    Excise and Taxation deptt karachi.

It says fees is paid for registration, number plate, book fee, vehicle tax.

They gave me number plate as well. But when i asked for book.... they said they will give me on 30th December. Why too late ? Is it only me or everyone ?

they have given counter no. as well. Please tell me the details

Mate its normal. Book is handed over after some time as they need to do some verification which go to drain if you pay them. I got my City Aspire registered last week from Islamabad Excise. The delivery date of book mentioned on my receipt of registration is 30th December 2013 where as I will be getting my book tomorrow as I have paid decent amount of money for this whole registration process.
Are you thinking what I'm thinking that I think that you're thinking I'm thinking because if you think that I think what I think I'm thinking then we've got a problem?

Oh. Then why this idiot dealer didn't ask me for rishwat openly ? Anyways, atleast your reply has given me some peace of mind but still, what about police on road. Is the registration paper is enough ?

Yes. If you read the receipt it will clearly say that Excise will not be taking any responsibility of this receipt after the book delivery date. Till you have your book you can use this receipt and the police is bound to accept it.
